Our server Arabella was so sweet and charming. The menu was ok and the wine list incredible. Unfortunately our table was in middle of room and a direct line to door and it was a very cold night. It needed more heat! As our mains were served there was a number of diners leaving and the continuous gusts of cold wind cooled our food too quickly… a small negative but details are important. My lamb rump was fantastic as was the zucchini flowers starter. The halloumi and pork belly just ok. Did not have dessert. bill with one green tea and four glasses of wine and a sherry was around $227. Did enjoy would return and recommend but be a little careful with table location.

A great pick for Sunday lunch to celebrate Mother’s 83rd birthday. Absolutely lovely staff which always adds to the occasion. Delicious meals as well. Thank you for a memorable afternoon.

Outstanding food and great service. The kingfish ceviche was so fresh and the lamb melted on the tongue. The waiter even gave me a tour of the building and a small history lesson. Thank you so much, would definitely recommend if you’re in town!

The staff were so accommodating, friendly and attentive. The food was absolutely beautiful, fresh and rich. Definitely don't eat much before going. 😋

The online menu did not seem extensive but did have interesting options like quail, goat, rabbit, duck and some fish dishes. Dessert is limited. Got to the restaurant and the menu had been changed most the interesting dishes removed. Although the pasta is made on premises we were disappointed as it was too heavy and not what I expected for Trenette, a narrow, flat pasta common in Liguria (see pic). The accompanying prawns had been chopped into small pieces (to make it seem like there were more I am guessing,  probably 3 prawns at most) and were overcooked. At $46 for pasta not good enough. The goat ragu was thin and not tender as expected on the Rigatoni. Some staff were attentive without intrusive, refilling water and wine as needed. Other wait staff, young and inexperienced, need more training for fine dining. Examples, placing my plate on top of my serviette or my coffee spilt into the saucer as it was delivered to the table and all she did was say sorry about that, and then I was left with the mess - Coffee ready to drip on my clothes. I would have appreciated at least a replacement saucer but for fine dining, this should never have been served. The atmosphere was okay but did get noisy with chatter echoing off the ceiling. Perhaps this was just an unfortunate experience, our unhappiness with the prawns was acknowledged, so I may be willing to give them another try sometime. I think the term 'Fine dining' is thrown around too casually these days.

Two of us visited for a birthday lunch and it was most enjoyable. We shared some smaller plates and it was all very delicious..we had the Octopus…prawn toast..chips..scallops..pork belly and the grain salad…it was all delicious and we are looking forward to returning

Thoroughly enjoyed our dinner at the newly opened Terrae restaurant, part of the Ernest Hotel. The old bank building has been tastefully renovated. The food was amazing, the staff very friendly and informative and the atmosphere very relaxing. The downstairs area just perfect for drinks and starters, we will definitely be back.
