Friendly guy/owner serving our cold beer.
Great for a chat and some info on the area.

Meals were good size and yummy.
Meals ready in good time.
Staff who brought out meals friendly and cleared our plates efficently which is always nice.

Prices normal.

Don’t know if I just arrived on a bad day but had the beef burger today, probably the worst counter meal I’ve ever had (I’m aged 71). The good sized beef patty had no flavour and was in a very average roll. Salad was adequate. I was disappointed as we were passing through town and my wife and I had been told this pub had the best counter meals in town. My wife said her chicken Parma was good. My meal was one star and wife’s was three, hence average of two

My scotch fillet was disgusting, it had odd taste and looked like it had been pieces of beef glued together. Vegies cold and undercooked. We were the only ones eating, I told hubby if locals aren't eating here, it must be bad, and it was. His T bone was undercooked and had no flavour. The hot chips were good.

Friendly service and great meals! Came here around the same time last year and the food and service was really good, so we gave them another try and weren't disappointed!

My go to bar for honest,hilarious conversation and a good feed.Take your kids...pool tables out back...big lawn...fenced...relax and enjoy the serenity..lol...so Australian and worth it...the recycled art work is insane!!!

She's a bit rustic upstairs but it got the job done. Really cheap weekly rate. Food is ok.

Had a T-bone steak cooked to perfection with chips and Diane sauce. Friendly service and very quick. Definitely recommend a good pub meal

A very ordinary establishment, it obviously caters to the locals.
We ordered 2 plates the first chicken schnitzel with veggies. The chicken was over cooked and mashed potato was very ordinary. The second dish was spaghetti bolognese which could not be messed up surely, it was tasteless. The servings were large but quality and flavour of two very simple dishes was not good. We decided to have a glass of house red which a Shiraz and probably the worst wine we have ever had. Not a great place for dinner
