We had everything we needed. Been relative newbies to Motorcycling and Adventure bike riding in particular, we emerged safe and sound and with a new sense of passion and appreciation for all things to do with Adventure Motorcycling and the lifestyle!

I rented a KLR 650 for a solo 6-day loop around Tassie. The bike was well-maintained and hauled around my camping gear and supplies without any issues. I only wish I stayed longer!

What a ride. Ben couldn't have been more helpful in the lead up as our plans kept changing. We rented a meticulously prepared SWM 650 for 8 days for a shortened ride from Launceston, Coles Bay, Hobart, Devonport, Stanley, Tullah. The SWM was very cheap compared to others, two-up power was fine, suspension good on and off-road, and it even had two USB chargers. Ben kept in touch the whole ride and recommended a number of good routes. Which got me thinking, a guided tour with Ben would be good fun. It was my wifes first adventure ride and she loved every minute. We cant wait until next time.

This is the second trip that I have had with TMT and it won't be the last. The scenery in Tassy is amazing and Ben and Lisa are the perfect people to guide you to it all in 5 star luxury service and hospitality. If you are thinking about an adventure tour then give Ben a call, you won't be sorry!

I took the 3 day Adventure tour in January 2020 with the Tasmanian Motorcycle Tours and would give them a 5/5? ratings.

I have also been on a similar tour in Tasmania with another (bit cheaper in price) motorcycle tour company. Please see my comments below why I would recommend Tasmanian Motorcycle Tours over its competitors.

Tour Leaders: Bruce (owner/director) is a local and very passionate about motorcycles, people and Tasmania. He was very helpful and accommodating throughout the trip which made the whole experience exceptionally good.

Motorcycle: The motorcycle provided BMW F800 GS was almost new and in immaculate condition. I was also offered panniers on my motorcycle for no extra cost.

Pricing: The pricing is very reasonable for what they provide. (Although I paid a lower price to the competitor company, I did not find the trip worth of the money).

Back up van: As promised they provided a back up van (full size truck) that stayed with us throughout the trip. (When I rode with the other company they promised but did not provide a back-up van. So had to leave my extra gear in their parked van at airport).

Meals: Meals were provided at best local cafes/restaurants. We also opted having breakfast and a meal using barbecue at our accommodation over long chats and laughs.

Accomodation: The accommodation was arranged at Bed in a shed(Tasmania), which is a motorcycle themed accomodation with very well maintained beds, bathrooms, kitchen, barbecue and more. I would also give this accommodation a 5/5? ratings.

Transportation from Airport: I was offered a pick up and drop to the Launceston airport and also from my hotel.

The Ride(not race): The ride was enjoyable for me because we took a few quick breaks(2-3mins) to take pictures, reposition my GoPro, coffee, know interesting facts about Tassi that only locals know or just to check that riders were doing fine. (When I was with the other company we didn’t get to do any of this, we just raced from point A to B and ended the trip)
