If I could give 0 stars, I would!
I rang up to inquire about having our dogs board over the Christmas break, when a lady by the name of Jenny answered.
She was extremely blunt and judgemental when we mentioned what breed of dog we have.
Asked us to present for doggie day care prior to boarding of which we can’t do as we live in QLD.
She then just said well we can’t help, I’m just doing what I’m told and ceased to have any further interest or engagement in our conversation.

How dare someone judge based off the type of dog a person owns, if a certain type of dog was a real danger to the community, Australia would not let us own them.

I am absolutely appalled by the customer service I received and will not recommend Tarraray to anyone for this reason.

I found Tararray Pet Retreat so far the best fit for my Xander boy a 55kg Italian mastiff.
Extremely kind & polite man in the reception who accommodated Xander immediately as we urgently needed to go away for a week . When we came back Xander was very calm , well feed and hydrated, I have been told they like dogs to run around and exercise . The best things is they have good options for pet accomodation from backpackers to deluxe , very reasonable price. Clean and great vibe around the retreat that you won’t feel guilty to leave your pet in Tararray retreat’ s good hands. Super happy , highly recommended ?‍

If I could give 0 stars I would as this place doesn't deserve 1 both our dogs were in the retreat for 3 weeks pick up day our girl come out and peed everywhere all over the concrete like she has been busting for hours also the smell of her was disgusting it took 3x baths to get rid of it she now has a very bad urine infection so to me she was holding on to wees quiet alot for this to happen now is on 2x antibiotics and is not the same dog she was when she we dropped her off very clingy and anxiety.
Our boy has come out smelling the exact putrid smell our girl did same thing took 3x baths to get rid of it he also has a ear infection and kennel cough 3x antibiotics for him so paying $1000 for these people who we trusted to have our babies for them to come out complete different dogs, infections and smell to now paying $800 for antibiotics and vet bills. This place needs to be shut down and the last at the front rude as not talkative and has no idea told her about the smell of the dogs and she says it will be worse today cause of the rain. Absolutely putrid

My mates dog was there the weekend just gone. Besides the god awful smell of her when we picked her up, she’s now at the vet being treated for dehydration and conjunctivitis. DO BETTER!

Our usually anxious GSP was calm and content whilst she was here. We couldn't believe it! So happy with the facilities and the staff's kind and caring approach to our littlest family members

I have used tararray pet retreat three times the first time was for a week all was fine. The second time something just didn't seem right on pick up. The third time my dog was so stressed out and smelt of urine. I have not returned nor would I recommend.

Not the cheapest for your cat but the rooms are clean and the cats well fed. Staff are more polite than friendly, it certainly has the 'running a business' feel. However my cat comes home decidedly less stressed and looking healthy compared to another nearby cattery.
