What can I say? This was the perfect holiday. We hired the whole place for a week for a group of families and it worked perfectly. The cabins and tents had beautiful views, super-comfy beds and a small but efficient kitchen and the central meeting place with larger kitchen worked for group meals.
A kayak in the morning on the lagoon followed by a different beach every every afternoon on this magnificent piece of coastline. Loz and Sam were generous, easy-going, knowledgeable hosts. I'd go back in a heartbeat!

Loz and Sam...honestly could you ask for better hosts?
Fantastic people gorgeous setting and sublime accommodation
The breakfast (half of which we turned into a memorable lunch with some additional ingredients) was a real bonus too.
Canoeing and having the entire lagoon to ourselves...simply very special..
I have told family of the stay and they are making plans to get there this year too.
For my wife and myself " We'll be BACK"!

We enjoyed our stay at Tanja Lagoon Camp immensely! The accommodation is designed for a relaxing time in an incredible bush and lagoon setting. The hosts were absolutely amazing and particularly helpful. Lots of space for the children to bike around and kayak. Loved the comfortable rooms and the luxurious bathrooms.

By far one of the nicest accommodations we have ever stayed in.

Our cabin in the middle of nature provided us with everything we needed. This really is an ideal location to relax and enjoy nature. It is possible to make a campfire at your accommodation (provided the risk of forest fires is limited), which makes your stay even cozier. Several kangaroos can be seen on the grounds. A monitor lizard also walked by.

Canoes can also be used free of charge at the location. Extra towels were also no problem.

We stayed in one of the Safari tents for 3 nights last weekend and we had an amazing time. The location is so peaceful, really easy to get to and was the perfect break from city life. The room was very cozy and luxurious - perfect glamping combo. We were most delighted to find some granola, eggs, milk, wine, bread & honey left for us to enjoy - a great surprise.

We will definitely return in future!

We recently had two nights at this camp and it was a wonderful experience. The location is idyllic and the safari-style tents are very comfortable. Having a modern bathroom and kitchen made our stay extra special. The view from our tent over the lagoon was spectacular. And we thoroughly recommend the walk along the lagoon to Middle Beach.|We thoroughly recommend a stay at Tanja Lagoon Camp.

Just got back from a 3 day stay in the Melaleuca Safari Tent at Tanya Lagoon Camp. It was very special and a trip we will remember. Everything was explained by either the owner or the ‘manual’ and worked exactly how it should have. It was so peaceful being able to sit in the afternoon sun with the local kangaroo mob munching nearby! The pellet heater kept the tent really warm, heaps of hot water for a shower and the kitchen has everything needed to eat in- which we chose to do.
The bird sounds were beautiful as was the view, especially early morning.
