Recently spent 2 nights here at this beautiful home, our wedding party stayed here and got ready the house is nice and private and the views were fantastic especially for our photos- very atmospheric watching the mist in the morning sweep up and at night or watching the lights of Gold Coast twinkle in the distance. The Retreat is ideally situated with restaurants and cafes close by and only a short drive to the witches falls winery and 700m from St Benards Hotel.
Daryl, the manager of The Retreat, was fantastic, answered all our questions promptly and in detail.
We wouldn't hesitate to recommend The Retreat and would definitely recommend this place to stay

Our family of four recently spent 6 nights at The Retreat and we had a wonderful time relaxing and recharging the batteries. The house is beautifully presented, clean, tidy and well equipped. The aspect was private and the views were fantastic - very atmospheric watching the mist sweep up Tamborine Mountain at night or watching the lights of Gold Coast twinkle in the distance. The Retreat is ideally situated with lots of restaurants and experiences close by and only a short drive to the bottom of the mountain for day trips.
Daryl, the manager of The Retreat, was fantastic, keeping us fully up to date when the recent wild weather threatened the cancellation of our holiday. Daryl answered all our questions promptly and in detail.
We wouldn't hesitate to recommend The Retreat and would definitely choose to holiday there again!

Perfect experience! Very clean and tidy house, warm in winter, fully equipped kitchen and large large backyard for my little ones. We really recommend Tamborine Retreat. We have 6 adults and 3 children. All of us love this two days holiday. Will definitely go again.

We had a weekend away with 8 girls at Tamborine Retreat and this accommodation was absolutely perfect for our needs. Enough space for all of us, lovely view and grounds, fireplace and fully equipped kitchen, an absolutely home away from home. Daryl was extremely helpful and responsive and even left us a complimentary bottle of wine on arrival. We will definitely be staying here again!

We have just had a lovely family holiday at this magnificent property. It was so comfortable and homely, a home away from home, and it was so well equipped. The house, and the grounds are so large and expansive and well maintained. It was really nice having our own private parts of the house, and also a large communal area for spending time together. Daryl gave us lots of good advice, and we spent time exploring the area, and went to some great shops and restaurants, but there are still lots more that we didn't get to, so we plan to come back next family holiday, hopefully for a little bit longer.

Daryl the property manager was wonderful to communicate with and met our family group off 6 adults at the house on arrival. You are instantly drawn to the amazing view and the open plan living the house provides. The house is in need of a facelift in some areas but overall comfortable and a good sized kitchen with many utensils available. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and even used the fire place during some cooler Summer evenings. We will return in the future for some more Mountain hospitality.

The house was excellent. The view from the verandah and master bedroom is incredible. It's a fantastic location, being a short drive to good restaurants and the local golf course. The full kitchen is good if you want to stay in
