We arrived a little after 6pm and there was already a small queue to order meals with one person behind bar taking meal and drink orders. I ordered our meals and we relaxed with a drink while waiting for our meals to be delivered. While waiting we saw the guy serving behind the bar take out three loads of takeaway orders including more than a dozen pizzas. There was a large group in the beer garden who ordered meals before us. In under an hour we had our fish n chips, they were delicious and I was impressed with the service for a small country pub and three staff. Well done 👏👏

My local hotel. Went there the other day for a repair for a kitchen appliance. Kitchen spotless, as expected, food to die for, the parmigiana were nearly the size of the plate. Atmosphere that i noticed was friendly and happy. Will definitely go back b4 Christmas to have dinner. Thumbs up.

My husband & I were told that the Tallangatta Hotel had excellent meals…..
And they were 100% right!
The hotel has that amazing old-pub-feel, from the first moment we were greeted by the bartender who was an oracle of information.
Our meal was absolutely delicious!
The chef is such an asset to the Tallangatta Hotel.
We chose, from the specials board, the Guinness Beef & Salad with Jamieson Whiskey dressing & the thinnest, crunchiest potato strings!

I only went to the pub but the food and service were great. I had a very nice pizza on the first day and the salmon steak on the next. They have an excellent chef! The staff were very friendly as well.

Took a group of 17 people for a feed and really didn't know what to expect as I've never eaten here before. Definitely didn't disappoint! Great meal, cold beer and a good old fashioned country pub feel. We'll be back!
