Absolutely loved our stay at this charming retreat! The location is perfect—just a short stroll to the river and the local restaurant, with wallabies and rabbits often visiting, all set against stunning views of the hills. From the moment we stepped into the apartment, we were amazed by how immaculately clean everything was. The place was spotless, and the attention to detail was truly impressive.
What made this stay even more special was the incredible hospitality of the owners. They are so warm, welcoming, and genuinely kind. When we discovered that the only restaurant in town had a limited menu with nothing we could eat, they graciously offered to share their own dinner with us—a gesture we’ll never forget!

Amazing accommodation.
Super clean and spacious.
Comfortable beds.
Modern bathroom and kitchen with all the appliances you need to cook, heat and store meals. Good and clean fridge/freezer.
Big couch and dining table.
A great verandah with bbq. We enjoyed having a drink by the end of the day there too.
Wild life and the sky at night is stunning.
And above all, very friendly staff and owners. Thank you Kim, Ian & Maree for your warm reception and for helping us with directions for local attractions, where to shop etc.
We do wish to be back. Kids really wanted to stay longer and children are the most honest 😉😜

Wonderful stay! Such a peaceful place in Autumn. Probably the cleanest and best maintained accommodation I've ever experienced, even the outdoor furniture was clean. Super comfortable beds, great quality manchester and pillows. Friendly and helpful host. Will be coming back to catch a mega trout in Talbingo dam!

Such a beautifully clean Apartment, only stayed one night, Wish I was staying longer. But I will be back for sure. Ian is a super friendly guy. Highly recommended.

We booked 2 x Deluxe rooms and the 3 bedroom apartment for our familys holiday this year over Easter. It was clean, well maintained and had all the necessities. Kitchen with all that that brings, bbq etc. They also had a seperate laundry room where there 2 washers and 2 dryers that take $1 coins only. I believe each seperate wash and seperate dryer was either $3 or $6 for 1 cycle, sorry can't remember, bring your own washing powdee. Do note the washer is small. It was a good home base as we wanted to tour the Caves, waterfall and thermal pools at Kosciuszko national Park which was about a half hour away. We had a few kangaroos visit our site over the 3 days and that was a treat. Super quiet, tranquil and the view of the mountains everyday was amazing. Imagine if we had went in the winter time. You're lucky if you got any cell service or wifi which Ian reminded me, it is a retreat 😂. We also saw the Tumut power plant 10mims away and a swimming area at the talbingo dam boat dock area which also had 1 bbq, it had a long drop toilet too. Water was freezing haha but kids still swam. Thanks Ian, we thoroughly enjoyed out Easter stay at your accommodation.
