We had an excellent experience with Tablelands Tours. Darrin, our tour guide, was not only highly informative and entertaining but also incredibly accommodating. He went out of his way to assist one of our party members with a disability. We wholeheartedly recommend Tablelands Tours

Darrin was an incredible guide for the day and airport transfers to and from Cairns airport. We had teenagers with us so we asked that he keep it fast paced and he certainly delivered! We saw more in one day than we ever could have on our own. He was knowledgeable, patient and lovely to spend the day with. His communication before the tour was excellent and he was prompt and delivered much more than we expected. We saw kangaroos, wallabys, flying foxes, and more! All 8 of us had different favorite parts of the tour! Highly recommend his Tablelands tour!

Darrin was our guide for 3 wonderful days exploring Cairns and Port Douglas. It was our first time to Australia and we asked Darrin to put together an itinerary for my wife and I for 3 days. The itinerary was excellent, he really showed us a wide variety of nature and interesting sites and gave us additional options along the way if we wanted to divert from the itinerary. He also picked great restaurants for us to have lunch at. We spent 5 weeks in Australia and New Zealand and Darrin’s 3 day tour was the highlight of our trip.

We did a private tour with Darrin around the Daintree Rainforest and Cape Tribulation with my 2 kids (8 and 9 yo),
It was just perfect : discovering the forest, beautiful lookouts, sharing about the culture, knowing more about the country… Highly recommended !!!

Darrin took us on two fantastic tours and organized a barrier reef snorkeling tour, as well. Darrin is a great representative for Cairns and its surroundings. He is informed and informative. He is willing to adjust the itinerary to tailor his tours to the needs of his clients (want to swim in a waterfall pool or crater lake? Want to see a kangaroo in the wild? Want to feed the wallabies? Want to walk through pristine rainforests? Want to ride the gondola or take the train? It can be arranged.). He is friendly and accessible. He is timely and trustworthy.

My group of four thought that Darrin and his tours were the highlight of our holiday in Cairns.

Daz is a good man and a great guide. He took us on the exact kind of adventure we asked for, filling all the moments between the epic “ooohhs and ahhhhhs” with local history and flavor. His arrangement of a mob of kangaroos at sunset was perfect.
