We booked with Alfonso for a group of 12 school-aged students whose English is not their first language. Alfonso was very accommodating and thoughtful in making sure that everyone was engaged with him and felt free to ask questions. The 2.5 hours were the right length for the amount of walking and listening. I think everyone learned something that they can use straightaway. Thank you very much, Alfonso.

The tips and techniques Alfonso showed us on this tour have really lifted my photography game.

I was surprised to realise there were more things I could do with my iPhone’s camera than I had discovered on my own. And then to practice how to improve the photos with the editing tool, means I’m now producing significantly better photos than before.

Alfonso’s expert photography knowledge and his confident and gentle approach were engaging. Although we were a group of strangers initially, his use of exercises where we shared our results and learned from each other as much as from Alfonso, had us feeling comfortable and friendly with each other.

As a bonus, we got to see some of the sights of The Rocks and finished up at one of the best locations to capture Sydney’s scenic beauty.

I’ve been raving about this tour to my friends ever since. I heartily recommend it!

Great experience doing the photography course with Scott. Besides the well structured time learning key concepts, you should ask all the hard questions as Scott has a wealth of knowledge and is happy to share.
Scott has a good sense of humour and we had a good time joking along!

This was an excellent way to learn about how to use my new smartphone to produce amazing photos. Alfonso was friendly, patient and made sure to know what I wanted to get out of the experience. He set a series of challenges for us which was so helpful. And we finished with pub meal at a great pub in the Rocks. Highly recommend!

Had a great afternoon learning smartphone photography from Alfonso. It was a small group setting and he gave us mini photo challenges after explaining how to use smartphone features. It was also good to learn how to use a photo editing app to enhance photos. Alfonso is a good teacher. He’s friendly and has lots of travel photography experiences. He took us around parts of the Rocks I haven’t been before and I learned what elements to look for to capture in a photo. It was fun and highly recommended.
