We stayed in one of the spacious villas. It was roomy with separate bedroom & sitting area. Good kitchen with everything we needed. The villa's are set well back from the sea, but there was a partial water view as we were up on a bit of a hill. We were in walking distance from St Helens, on a quiet footpath away from traffic

Clean, tidy and well maintained. Very friendly staff who were helpful in helping us navigate the beautiful Bay of Fires and find services in Saint Helens. We had a great view from our living area. Kitchen well resourced. Beds were warm and cozy.

Tim at reception was Super accommodating and friendly. He took the time to explain sites to see and places to stay also was able to organise a last minute late check out with no issues. Unit was clean and nicely furnished. Very good value for price we paid! Location was convenient and close with slight water views.

Honestly this hotel was a real disappointment, having high hopes when we booked.

We booked a one bedroom 'bay view' room, and upon arriving saw the row of rooms with sun loungers clearly with a view over the bay. It was only when we picked up the keys (note - there is no check in or checkout staff - in fact we didn't see anyone working there the entire time) that we discovered we were off to the side, and it's really a strech to call them fully bay view rooms. Yes if you lift your head over the roof of the villas in fron you can see it, but you can't clearly see it from the room.

Cleanliness as others have mentioned wasn't great - the fridge wasn't completely clean and the bathroom wasn't either. There was no proper parking space for our car either. The kitchen is well equipped however, but the rather stern sign saying all items must be cleaned, dried and put away before checking out is a little unnecessary and unwelcoming. Probably better than the staff cleaning it though, to be honest.

Location is ok but too far to walk into town in the evening.

Needs work and investment, in truth.
