I cannot recommend SwaLaRue Events highly enough. My husband and I had already selected our wedding venue before meeting Anshwa, and unfortunately, the venue turned out to be extremely difficult to work with. Despite all the obstacles the venue threw at us, Anshwa was there every step of the way, managing everything with professionalism and grace. She validated our concerns, tackled each issue head-on, and made sure everything stayed on track. Thanks to her, our wedding day was perfect, even when things got difficult.

As someone who’s a bit of a perfectionist and likes having control over the details, I was initially nervous about handing things off. But Anshwa’s expertise and calm demeanor made it easy for me to trust her, and I knew everything would turn out great. On the wedding day, both Anshwa and Fran were there to support us and manage every detail. Anshwa kept everything running smoothly, making sure nothing went off course. Fran was incredible—when an issue with my dress thew me for a loop, she took the time to talk to me and calm me down, which made all the difference before walking down the aisle.

If you’re planning a wedding or any event, I can’t recommend SwaLaRue Events enough. Anshwa and Fran are an amazing team, and they truly go above and beyond to make sure everything is perfect.

Ms. Lewis worked with our corporate office as well as our CEO for the grand opening of our hospital, Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Katy. Always very professional and accommodating, she engaged local vendors, talent and restaurants to achieve the community feel that we wanted. SwaLaRue was AMAZING! My fiance (at the time) did not see the need for a wedding planner, but I did. So I paid for one with my own money. I REGRET nothing! Anshwa was such a gem. I paid for The Boss Bride Business Partner Package, so I did a lot of the legwork myself. But working 3 jobs and planning a wedding was such a stressful thing. So when Anshwa came on during those 60 days and started to get things in order, I was thrilled. She took so much of the pressure off of me. The weeks leading up to the wedding were the worst, but Anshwa was there. Cancellations, my Dad not being able to walk me down the aisle because of Covid, family issues, were all things I didn't expect, but again, SwaLaRue was there to help with reorganization issues. Anshwa and her assistant Fran were amazing!! I had THE most beautiful wedding that started ON TIME AND SO DID THE RECEPTION! My Prince Charming and SwaLaRue...the best ever!
