Honestly the best decision we could have made when it came to planning our wedding day!

Also both LaToya and Ajay are fantastic and such lovely people to work with. For us, it felt they listened to everything we said, every aspiration and idea and then they made it happen!

Planning
When we started to think about planning our wedding we were unsure whether we needed a planner, and after speaking to a couple of wedding planners we were put off by limitations some of them imposed, but then we spoke with LaToya. Following our first call with LaToya our minds completed changed. We spoke frankly, we spoke about budgets / expectations and importantly we spoke about what we want our wedding to be like and not what we wanted it to be like. LaToya understood us from the get go and also her energy and enthusiasm is infectious. When meeting Ajay the first time, we saw the balance in his practical thinking, we knew why they work so well as a team.

Re-planning
We are very grateful for the wedding they created with us, it was beyond our expectations and looked and felt amazing. Their experience in wedding planning shone through when it came to working with suppliers and also the little details of the day - there are far too many examples to give. Even with the pandemic and several iterations of wedding format, guest numbers, restriction requirements, floor planning, etc, LaToya and Ajay kept us calm and more often knew more about what the wedding restriction guidelines meant before others. Partly because how hands on they are in the wedding sector, championing the suppliers in the sector and the bride/grooms.

On the day
The day ran so smoothly from our perspective, and that of the guests - it was a dream! That was down to SW Events team being so detailed focused and also being so calm on the day (they were probably running around putting out fires in the background, but for everyone involved and our guests it was a stress free event - our guests have commented positively about pretty much every aspect of the day.

Ajay, you almost got a variety show, we think the creativity and vision we created for a seated reception was nothing anyone could have expected and it was such a treat for everyone - this is down to both your creativity but also experience with weddings and venues to pull it off. You knew exactly what would and wouldn't work.

We first met SW Events at a friend’s wedding and when it was our turn to get married and we decided to get a wedding planner, we didn’t think twice about who’d plan our wedding!

SW Events planned and managed a stunning wedding ceremony at the classy Victoria & Albert Museum. I was tasked with conducting the Nikah ceremony and I must say that I was impressed from the moment Ajay shared a detailed itinerary and plan of the day. It was thorough!

Without exaggeration, this wedding was the best planned wedding I have been to, and for those of us that go to Asian weddings know that they hardly run on time. But the experience from this wedding was a breath of fresh air. Hiring SW as our wedding planners was the best decision we've made. They were an pleasure to work with, always professional but able to have a great time while doing so. Their positivity is essential when dealing with the stress of planning a wedding!

We asked them for a lot of various things, and they were able to provide very good options for getting it done, or at the very least, an alternative if our ask was a bit too out-there. Their suggestions were on point and had a range of prices and quality so that we could decide between them. They did so much behind the scenes, liaising with all of the suppliers and sorting out any issues that we had.

We did not have any problems throughout the time working with them and would hire them again to plan anything!
