Nice beach, although the highlight for me is the Memorial Walk, which runs across it. Starting to the north and going across the Anzac Bridge, you'll get gorgeous views!

Ample parking and a nice cafe (Swell). Unfortunately, we visited on a red flag day (no swimming) but still enjoyed the walk.

A nice, quiet beach if you want to escape the crowds on Bar Beach.
Dog friendly, just around the cliffs from Bar Beach or accessible from the cliff top car park down a rough track.

We loved our afternoon here. Lots of amazing sand for playing in and a gentle surf at the far end for the little ones. All the usual facilities and some good shady picnic spots. Watch out for slippy rocks if you take a walk out on the bar.

Extremely cold water but you get used to it. The sand is pretty cool too. Good fish and chips. Almost as good as a Queensland beach.

Very poorly sign posted entrance, very steep, and uneven track to beach.
I walked via main beach 500 meters down from entrance.

Access is easy at low tide, at high tide you have to clamber down from the cliff walk.

It was a beautiful day. I was hoping to see a shark in the water from the cliff top parking
