I went 2 times at this place and both of times were awful. This time the girl at the register wanted to sell me a ballon that was faulty. The ballon was mine from a different store and I just wanted to fill it up with air. She charged me $7 from $10!! For a small ballon. She didn’t even see the size of the ballon before she charge me and she said that it was $10! Girl? How do you know the size before you open it and see it
I didn’t know that is was faulty because it was brand new in the package.
She put the air in and she gave it to me. She said “ Ohh be careful so it doesn’t go up”
The ballon wasn’t even going up!!!!! It was loosing air already in not even 1 minute. It was like a had it already A WEEK !!!
She didn’t say ANYTHING !!! She just wanted me to leave with a faulty ballon when I’ve paid $7 for it!!!
I said to her that I’m really disappointed and I want more air in the ballon. That was the time that she said that it was faulty!
WHY SHE DIDN’T SAY THIS FROM THE START Before giving it back to me!?!
After a guy took the ballon from me and went to fill it with extra air. He came back and said that it’s faulty and gave me a refund. He was so professional at his job! She should take notes from him!

entered this establishment on Thursday afternoon to order some balloons for a party on the Sunday (if bookings allowed, if not I was going to just purchase the stock and have them filled elsewhere)

Upon walking in, I wasn’t greeted and had to initiate contact with the two workers at the front.

I told them what I wanted, but naturally balloon purchasing isn’t my forte and wanted their expertise.

I chose a “3” and “0”, and told them I wanted one weighted assortment and 15 loose balloons. And decided on black, silver and gold.

I was told pick up for Sunday was too busy, and that it couldn’t be arranged but was told we could pick up on Friday. I was apprehensive as I needed to hide these balloons as it was a surprise party but was told as long as hi float was used they would be fine (and I made a quick call and arranged to keep the balloons at my mother in laws house)

While the balloons were being sorted the back doorbell buzzed, both girls sighed and complained that the person (I assume the Owner / Manger) locked himself out and didn’t have access and didn’t bother (well they verbally stated) to not want to attend and help him. A couple of minutes later the doorbell rung again, and finally one of the girls unwillingly went to assist as she rolled her eyes.

All balloons were placed on the desk and the paperwork began, by this time the other co-worker returned with the boss and the returning co-worker told the lady helping me that she was needed to help with stock as instructed by management. She didn’t seem pleased, made a couple of remarks about not wanting to and the girls swapped responsibilities without communicating the progress of my order.

At that point I just wanted to walk out, but felt obligated as I had already begun the process of an order.

I could see the new person navigating her way through my order, and I had to explain absolutely everything again. I noticed there were a lot more balloons on the desk than I had thought, I explained I didn’t want the weighed decorative display too big and 8-10 balloons was feeling like too many, she went through some ideas and she helped with that. (That was a positive)

But then the communication went terribly, I had to explain multiple times that my event was on the Sunday (not Saturday like they kept assuming) then suddenly the pick up day was changed to Saturday at 4.30pm, I had to tell her multiple times what I needed and what I wanted and by the end I had lost the excitement and joy that you usually have planning a surprise for someone.

I paid and left in shock, I didn’t think getting balloons would be so hard.

PICK UP:
I was going to collect the balloons, however my mother in law was available and offered to collect them for me.

Luckily I told her what I had ordered as when she got there the “3” and “0” balloons were not there, in fact were left in the bag. She was told that I never paid to have them inflated, I never asked for them to be and it would be an additional $26 to have them done which I know I definitely would have wanted them inflated, and she expressed that to the staff. From what she was saying, they were the staff I dealt with on Thursday plus an additional member.

She paid for them to be inflated, waited for over half an hour and was treated terribly and said she felt like an inconvenience to them.

I am absolutely humiliated that she had to pay for something I had already organised, and I feel like I had put her out as she didn’t have the time to wait around, nor do I feel like she should have been charged for the staff members mistake.

I tried to call a couple of times, left a message to be called back and my call was never returned.

The day if our party the 3 was noticeably not as inflated as the 0, and now 1 day after the event it is completely deflated on the floor.

Unfortunately I will not be returning to this establishment, nor will my family and I hope the two staff I dealt with learn some respect not only to customers but most importantly their boss especially after how hard I know they would have been hit during the pandemic.

Charging $30 for a bottle of hand sanitizer and being rude to customers is exactly not what you want to do in a pandemic!
This is not only morally wrong but illegal!

Huge Range. I find the cake decorating section to be really good quality. Staff are great. Been served by Cody (I believe that’s his name) several times excellent customer service.

Super friendly staff and an amazing selection of party stuff we just got helium balloons and other bits for my 7 year olds birthday ❤️ Super easy because of good prices and good quality stock... and loads of parking there. Highly recommended‼️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
