We’ve been coming here for years, watching the park deteriorate to the point we weren’t ever going to come back, it was dreadful.
Great news! The park has new owners who took over 8 weeks ago. The new owners are helpful, friendly and you can see that are working hard to bring the park back up to scratch. It’s going to be a long hard slog but you can already see the difference. Even though the amenities are old they are very clean. The camp kitchen is new, fresh, and well equipped. Not only does it have new crockery, microwave, air fryer but it even has a stove and oven!! Rates are reasonable and the improved security is great.
Excellent playground and lovely sparkling pool. Right on the beach, beautiful sunsets and close to town.
We’ll definitely be coming back to watch the transformation!

We had a great stay at the park in one of the cabins. It was clean and comfortable. The new management were incredibly helpful, proactive and friendly. The beach is beautiful. Supermarket just up the road. We woke to the sound of the ocean and pretty sounding birds, not crows! Ripper! Would recommend.

I needed an 8 to 10 week stay to get out of a DV situation. I am a local of 8 years with my own caravan. They could only offer me 14 days.

We moved from a noisey camp to this glorious caravan park! I’m not a fan of parks but this one was amazing!
Facilities were immaculate (and I’m a facilities coordinator) so I was impressed!
The camp kitchens were modern and had everything you needed, and one was massive!
BBQs outside also, lovely pool, sunset deck over the beach and lots of bins, great laundry also. What more could you want?!!
Our site was large, staff friendly and we found it quiet and peaceful.
Wish we had booked here from the beginning of our stay in Geraldton!

In short: a nice, basic and clean experience at 50m from the ocean.
I was here a week for work and the cabin had all it needed.
Advertised for up to two people.
I was alone and it was perfect, for two people it would have been too small.
Having said that: if you are only crashing here for the one night you should be OK.

Great facilities and during a walk around there was ample space where all the grey nomads we parked with their caravans etc...

One thing stopping giving it a 5 is the ever lacking logistics of doing the washing.

No money change, reception does not change money, I asked if they could charge money to our current account, they couldnt.
I was send to a local shop that charged me $4.50 for changing money.

Too much hassle guys.

why can't you equip the machines with eftpos, way easier, we are heading to a cashless society but that era has not arrived here.
Possible fees you incorparate in the price.

Despite this it's lovely holiday 50meters from the ocean.

Our first time in a cabin at a caravan park and it has set the standards. My family loved it here, rooms and toilets are clean, fresh towels and basic toiletries were provided. Situated right next to the ocean was perfect for a morning stroll.

Stayed in a powered caravan site for 4 nights in July 2024 while in Geraldton for a sporting event. Park is located a little bit North of town, right on the beach. We had a large grassed site with plenty of room. Amenities are dated but clean. Walk path through to river mouth and grassy park. Raised platform to watch the sunsets. Unfortunately, our neighbours had their Engel fridge stolen overnight but the park management does advise you to keep your valuables locked up.

Camped there, no shade, very basic and expensive for what it was. Pool ok but very small, amenities ok but dated. Beach was poor.
