This motel is a horrible place. Owners and manager pick and choose what rules they want to set for each guest whenever they feel like doing so... That is immediately after they judge people in the first 30 seconds when they arrive. Also there is no set prices for rooms. The price is made up on the spot after they look at you and choose how much they think you have. Also the manager likes to get drunk with a selected group of the guests every weekend where they all like to gossip and talk about other guests behind their backs and management will also share any security footage of you to anybody who asks to see it. This place is owned and managed by selfish scamming people from India that may or may not even be legal citizens. Things are always falling apart and breaking because they have all of the maintenance and repairs done by an unqualified handyman. DO NOT STAY AT THIS MOTEL! Or Arabella Motel. it is owned by the same discusting people and run by the same manager

Thank you for our lovely 2 nights.
Management were very friendly & helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. Employee Sarah, was excellent, friendly, helpful and extremely professional, an asset to any employer. It is the cleanest motel we have stayed in and we have stayed in many. Thank you.
We will be back.

Rooms a good size, stayed 3 nights and room wasn’t serviced at all as advertised.|Dirty pillow covers, which I removed hoping they would wash them on departure.|Had booked for 4 nights, but had to leave early due to Tweed going into lockdown. They refused to refund our last night, which is disappointing, we HAD to leave or otherwise we couldn’t get home for 7 days. |Pool area needs a good clean up, cans on ground, old esky and general debris in BBQ area. Weeds everywhere in Motel grounds. As we are Motel Managers by trade, we strongly believe 1st impressions are very important, and you shouldn’t advertise servicing of rooms if you don’t.|And no, you are not getting this review because you kept our money during a Covid lockdown, as you wrote on my Booking. com review, it’s the truth, and no apology for your lack of compassion during the pandemic shows your respect for guests.

The owner is a humble and good man.We were desperately looking for a room and happen to be a cancellation and thank God our prayer answered (arabella). Room was clean, spacious enough for two of us and had a good two day rest. Will recommend to anyone , and will say hi to the owner and wife whenever we drive to tweeds head, GB

Great motel for short or long term stay.

The rooms were always well cleaned and stocked, and if I needed anything or any assistance - the staff were always willing to accommodate.

Location was also great.

The owners of the motel were also very lovely, and patient in answering all my questions about the area.

Will definitely book this motel again whenever I visit Tweeds Heads.

This is one of the best motels I have stayed in.
We were on our way to Toowoomba for a funeral.
When I first made the booking I mixed up the nights we would be staying. They were very understanding and happy to make the necessary changes.
The room and bathroom were spotlessly clean and well presented.
The bedding was clean with no pulling of the sheets and the beds were comfortable, allowing us a pleasant night sleep.
The staff were friendly, helpful and polite.
Breakfast was delicious and always delivered on time.
I have no hesitation in recommending the motel to family and friends and we will definatly book there again when returning to Tweed Heads

You get what you pay for. Compared to other hotels in the street this place is clean, exactly what advertises and has extremely lovely customer service. If we come back to Tweed we will probably be staying here again. It's perfect for those who don't want to spend too much on accommodation and are spending most of the day out. Just as an example of the customer service, we noticed power had dropped out mad contacted the owners, they dropped everything and immediately went to check rooms and fix the problem.

We have stayed here many many times and have always had a very pleasant stay. However when I phoned to book a stay last May the lady (a new owner) said they were doing renovations and would let me know if they would have anything available. She never phoned back which I found very discourteous. It left us not knowing, this was 7 days before our intended book-in day so plenty of time to phone us back. She had asked for my phone number so no excuse, just rude. We will not stay there again, found another place where the people were as friendly as Vicky (Sundowner's previous owner) so will go back there in future. It's not as though our visits were infrequent, normally 2 or 3 times every year for between 5 and 7 days each time, their loss.
