The fun and friendly crew at Sundive made sure I had a good experience. They were professional and gave good instructions/briefing. Even though the visibility was a bit low at times due to the recent storms, there was still so much to see and Nguthungulli remains one of my favourite Australian dive sites. Can't wait to come back 🙂

Spectacular dive team. We only booked one dive and asked the day before if there’s any more spots available, and they came back with good news! Great communication and friendly team, efficient communication and easy check in process. Once we got there, Marco our dive instructor immediately greeted us and prepared the equipment for us, only six divers in a group almost like a private tour.

Both dives were incredible, one of the best dives in my life. The dive happened exactly as explained in the briefing. Entering process was seamless, great work from the team to having to launch the boat from the busy surf zone and did it in such a short time.

Great visibility at Julian Rocks, we saw countless of Wobbegong sharks and Leopard sharks even they said it’s coming to the end of the season. A big eagle ray and leaf scorpion fish spotted by Marco too. Thank you dive guide Marco, skipper Mark and sundive team for the best experience! Highly recommend diving with these guys.

Can say Sundive is the best and genuine Scuba diving place in Byron Bay.
Very experienced, patient and honest staff.
Unfortunately, on our dive day the visibility went bad after our pool session. They're very honest about it, explained to us what the reality would be underwater and gave us the option if we wanted to continue, reschedule or get a full refund.
Due to time constraints we had to cancel it out, but we're really grateful for their time and honesty.

Professional, friendly, fun dive crew in Byron Bay who look after everyone and make sure you really get to enjoy the amazing dive site at Julian Rocks. So much activity down there, so can't list it all, but look out for the playful Leopard Sharks, laid back Grey Nurse Sharks, Eagle Rays, Manta Rays, Octopus and of course ... Turtles 🙂

We had the best dive here! We got super lucky and saw two Manta rays and also some Leopard sharks and turtles. The team does a really good job, we felt safe at all times even though there was some current. Would definitely choose them again!

An amazing experience! The guides were great and the snorkeling was fantastic! We saw a big turtle swimming in the water surface and lots of wobbigonbongs sharks while snorkeling ! Would recommend this to anybody going to Byron Bay! Our guide was Jess and she spotted all the great animals out for us, big shout out to her for being an awesome guide ! All in all a great day

Yesterday I did the intro to diving course with Pat and Emi. They were both very calming and Pat was an outstanding instructor, clearly explaining everything and taking the time to ensure everyone was comfortable before proceeding. The dive itself was amazing, plenty of sharks to see! Perfect 👌🏻
