I had only a Diploma in Accounting and a few additional certificates with almost no experience. In my opinion, I joined the best franchising Accounting and Tax advisors' group, and I'm grateful for the valuable support I received from our managing director, Darren Gleeson. Darren has been patient and professional in supervising me and explaining my mistakes. He's also a knowledgeable and smart person whose advice you can trust. Tracy, our Franchisee Development Director, is invaluable as well. She offers original ideas, and necessary advice, and warns and helps in given situations. When I joined Success Tax Professionals, I never met Tracy, Darren, or Roy. I joined in with questions like if I could get full support for my practice, if they are always contactable, or if they could look after me in a different state in Australia. I have been a franchisee since 2005. Since then I have been able to obtain my tax agent registration with the support of the Darren and Tracy. Darren is allays available to answer questions and give advise on various taxation issues which arise. There is also access to a basecamp type platform where franchises can field questions or comments and get feedback and support from other franchisees. Darren holds training sessions during the year which assists franchisees to update their knowledge and meet their CPD requirements as required by the Tax Practitioners Board, all for free. Its the best of both worlds. You can be a sole practitioner and have the support of a Australia wide network.
