Highly recommend.

Walking distance to all local pubs and shops.
Walking distance to river-bend walks and suspension bridge.

Clean and tidy motel. Very clean with a pool.
All amenities including, fridge, toaster, microwave and kettle.

A pleasant surprise to find such a well run regional motel. Building wise it is what you expect from such a placed priced as it was. A dated, basic but functional room, but where it stands out was the attention to detail, and the high level of cleanliness one would expect from a 5 star hotel. A credit to the owner. Being off the main road it was also quiet, and had the added bonus of being close to the river. The only complaint we had really was it had a window/wall air conditioner, which while very effective was far too loud to have running all night, and suggest a need to update these units to a split system.

Clean, well equipped (kettle, bar fridge, microwave, toaster, cups, saucers, plates, cutlery) and generous in their offerings for consumables (toiletries, tea bags, biscuits, instant coffee, sugar). Rooms are pretty basic but clean, and the bathroom is in much better shape than another motel I have stayed in in Balranald. Mattresses comfortable. Lots of heaters (there were 3 in our room) so I can’t imagine you’d ever be too cold. Plentiful hot water, you just have to wait a minute for it to get going. Nice woman on reception desk who was there to greet us with a smile. Slightly back from the road compared to the other motel I have stayed in so the road noise, while still slightly audible, is much reduced.

Sweet little motel - we stayed for one night on our way through to Broken Hill. Lovely location right next to the river! Smallish room but everything was clean and tidy and homey. Good price and for a short stay, it was everything we needed and nothing we didn't need. Would stay again.

Broke down and needed emergency accomodation for two nights, lady was extremely helpful getting me a room in busy holiday times. Also went out of her way to help me settle, doing washing outside listed hours, ect. Eased my stress immensely.

Yes it's a three star motel, but as such is five stars. Everything a good standard including comfortable bed, clean room and handy location to riverside walk, shops and club for good food. Best thing is that it is off the highway which can be noisy with semi trailers rumbling through.

Quick overnight on the way through to SA. Off the highway next to the river walk if you want to stretch your legs. Remote check in. Clean and comfortable. Everything we needed. Recommend the Club for dinner just a short drive down the road on the highway.
