Beautiful gorge with a nice view on CBD. Unfortunately it was dry during my visit.
And I couldn't find a carpark nor a map of the park.

Love the rolling hills, very steep with a river running through it. Go on a colder day as there wasn't much shade. Update: second visit with track that runs along the river. Plenty of shade and had so much fun jumping rocks this track was not steep at all!!

I’m so glad to have discovered this awesome hiking trail not far from home. Was a bonus to see and hear many kookaburras. Loved the unpredictable way in which the trail winded. Will definitely be hiking here more often.

An absolutely stunning river walk. I wasn’t sure what to expect here as it was a new walk for me. A great break from the usual mount lofty and morialta falls. There were many trailheads depending on what you want in a walk. Some fun swimming points on a hot day also. We were nearly alone along the trail with an occasional couple passing by. Definitely worth a visit!

Trail Running SA series 4, very technical track, great scenery and views...of course the hills sucked. Would be awesome to hike. On the plus side the creek crossings were all dry

We did the hike in Sturt Gorge Recreation Park last Saturday. It was a bit drizzly in the morning, but the color in the park got so much more vivid because of the grooming weather. We took our cat Parker with us this time. He loved being in the wilderness! We had him on a leash where he was walking proudly along side of us among the tranquility in the park. It’s moment like this that make you feel that life is indeed beautiful. ❤️
