We were pleasantly surprised, we have a little dog with us and they set us up in the alfresco area outside. We had Scotch Fillet with Pepper Sauce, chips and salad, cooked medium, my wife said it was the best Scotch Fillet she had ever had and i have to say it was excellent.
The Ribs with chips and coleslaw was also very good, meat fell off the bone.
It looks like the building is going through renovations, even though we really enjoyed our time here, would highly recommend the food.

I ordered the chicken schnitzel and steak, but unfortunately, it wasn’t a great experience. When ordering the schnitzel, I had to clarify with the receptionist that it’s served with salad, chips, and a choice of sauce. However, they only brought the schnitzel and salad. I had to ask for the chips and sauce separately, and even then, they first brought only the sauce. After checking the receipt, they finally brought the chips. As for the steak, they served it with the wrong sauce. Overall, I’d suggest visiting this place only if you don’t have other options.

$132 for two steaks, a pint, (costco) moscato. the sides of veg and chips are $3 each option and an abysmally sad looking amount at that.

we're somewhat lucky we ordered the same dishes each, we watched other tables food come out 30+ minutes apart so some members of a table would be left waiting the entire time

the place is dead too, no music. nothing

never going back, theres better options available elsewhere

Pleasantly impressed with the food. Ordered the scotch fillet, medium and came out perfectly seasoned, grilled and delicious. Atmosphere is a little quiet, though owner is humble and recently moved into the area. It's not a professional city slicker pub, don't expect that. Have a few drinks, the steak was worth the wait. Give them a go and support local.

This used to be one of our favourite places to eat in Camperdown when we would visit…. (Like the best steak I had ever eaten, even better than high end steakhouses)

Unfortunately we had dinner last night and the food wasn’t great at all.
The place has seemed to go down hill since we last went there 6 months ago.

$40 for a piece of scotch fillet steak (which wasn’t scotch fillet) and then an extra $3 for chips and $3 for veg.. the steak was cooked well and was tasty. The chips and veg were stone cold. I had asked for creamy garlic sauce (they said they were sold out) so I opted for the garlic butter. I am unsure what the garlic butter was but it didn’t melt and looked like stuffing from a chicken.

My partner ordered a parmi and chips with tomato sauce on the side.
The parmi was terrible. The cheese was like cardboard and not melted and instead of the Napolitana sauce they had put plain tomato sauce on the parmi. It was inedible and we asked for a refund which they gave.

We had also ordered two drinks. I got a double vodka raspberry and my partner got a pint of Carlton dry.
My double vodka raspberry clearly had no vodka in it as it just tasted of raspberry and they had given my partner the wrong type of beer.
Spending $120 on terrible food and beverages isn’t a great feeling.

They owners need to put abit more effort into the appearance of the bar and grill.
I.E; not having duct tape on broken chairs and hand written signs for water.

Also odd note - they had a big JBL speaking just sitting in the dining area playing strange music. Would be good if the speaker was behind the bar and playing just normal hits.

This whole experience was really unpleasant and I generally don’t like leaving bad reviews, But i think it is important to give honest feedback for other people and the owners.

I hope the owners can improve and the bar and grill can get back to the way it was!

Went there 2 years ago food was amazing went back 2 weeks ago and it was horrible. I ordered the chicken and bacon I couldn't even cut the chicken it was beyond dry. Our son had the sticky pork and rice it was tiny and had zero flavour the only thing that tasted nice was the steak but paying extra to have chips $3 and salad $3 was ridiculous!
