Our stay in Stawell was quite lovely.
Booked an ensuite site for 4 nights.
Friendly welcome from 2 Irish lasses on our arrival, who informed and directed us to our site.
The ensuite is dated, but clean and functional with hot water.
An added bonus was the addition of fluffy white bath sheets, hand towels, face washers and bath mats.
Another bonus was the free laundry facilities.
An easy walking distance to the Stawell Gift Museum, The Gift Pub and the historic buildings in town central make it a lovely place to stay.
If there’s a race day, you’re 500 metres from the track.
The Gift Hotel has good old fashioned hospitality and the The Gift Museum is worth a visit.

Stayed here for 4 nights as a base to inject some money back into the region. Stayed here many years ago, but won’t bother again. Stayed in an en-suite site. Would have appreciated that the site was reasonably tidy of sticks and bark before we arrived. Staff tidied and bagged up debris from the other en-suite sites while we were there, but then left the garbage bags full of sticks and bark laying on the site. They were still there when we left.
The amount of security cameras around the park, is a bit of overkill and feels like an invasion of privacy.
We also wondered why staff stopped their buggies a couple of times each day and took photos of us, our vehicle and camp.
The park is not well cared for compared to when I stayed many years ago. Don’t let the website fool you if you’re looking for grassy sites.
It appears there are far too many projects on the go and none of them finished, except possibly for anything painted with the black paint that must have been a good price.
The park looks like a building or manufacturing site.
The ceiling painted black makes it impossible to see in the en-suite.
Generally, the park didn’t feel welcoming and we wouldn’t recommend.

We stayed in a cabin for a night during the hot weekend. Took awhile to figure out how to turn on the AC. Even after AC was turned on, the cabin was still hot.

We could not cook dinner that night because the gas was not connected. When we called reception, they told us that the entire camp had no gas and apparently they had only found out 30 minutes before.

Staff did not try to rectify the situation or offer any sort of compensation so I guess everyone either ate bread or starved that night.

The only good thing about the place is that the beds are comfy.

We stayed overnight in a cabin. We loved it comfortable bed. Warm day air conditioning was already on for us. Clean comfortable. Staff very welcoming as well. Next time we are in the area certainly will be re booking.

Friendly staff.
Liked how the ensuite is designed, giving us privacy. Nice to have a porch in front with table and chairs to sit. Cleanliness is substandard, shower screen still soap-streaked, bench and floor not cleaned properly, cobwebs in shower and porch area. Otherwise a pleasant stay.

We recently stayed for 1 night on our way through back to Melbourne from SA, the staff were very friendly, beds were incredibly comfortable some small cleanliness issues such as dirty towel hanging on bathroom door on arrival, an old cake of soap in shower and toilet had been used and not flushed, Also new body wash dispensers installed in cabin shower which didn’t work.
A lot of money is being put into the park and I would be interested to return when works are completed for a longer stay as it had so much potential.

We stayed over the Labour Day long weekend in the Yellow hammervan and weren't impressed with anything at this park.
If you're looking for a glamping experience in their caravans and buses, think twice as there are a couple of things to be aware of:
1. The pictures are deceiving. You don't get to experience what you see on their website.
2. The caravan was full of filthy cobwebs and spiders, which we had to keep cleaning over our stay.
3. The people at the reception are quite rude and blunt when asked to fix things like chirping smoke alarm, water issues, etc.

I can't recommend staying here.
We stayed a couple of years ago and the deterioration since that time is disappointing. The cabin now is all black with cobwebs and dust all over the front door and verandah. The black walls inside highlight the poor cleaning.
Pots and pans supplied, but nothing to use them on, only a microwave and electric frypan.
While I understand that black may be recognised as an efficient solar colour for the outside, this does not apply to the inside, it just makes it dark and dingy.
