I recently had the pleasure of dining at this beautiful restaurant in celebration of my boyfriend’s mother’s 60th birthday, and I can honestly say it was one of the best dining experiences I've ever had! From the moment we stepped through the door, we were greeted with warm smiles and a welcoming ambiance that set the tone for the evening.

The service was nothing short of exceptional. Our server, Sienna was not only knowledgeable about the menu but also genuinely enthusiastic about the dishes. Sienna took the time to recommend personal favorites and even offered to customize a dish to cater to our dietary preferences. It’s rare to find such attentive and caring staff who truly want to ensure a delightful experience for their guests.

The food itself was a masterpiece. Each dish was beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. You can tell that the chefs put a lot of thought and passion into their creations.

What truly sets this restaurant apart is the staff's commitment to excellence. They worked seamlessly as a team, ensuring that every detail was taken care of, from the timely service to the thoughtful follow-ups checking if we needed anything else. It felt like we were being treated like royalty!

To top it all off, the ambiance was inviting, with a perfect balance of elegance and comfort. It’s an ideal spot for a romantic dinner, a family celebration, or even a casual night out with friends.

Food is not bad, out of all that we ordered i think only the chicken Parma that needs a bit of improvement as its a bit too dry.

The rest like the grill octopus, ribs even burger for the kids were great.

Service can be a bit slow during dinner but still friendly

Our first time here for an anniversary dinner and we had high expectations. Firstly, the good points. The staff are amazing. Friendly, helpful, and very attentive. Rare to find a restaurant where all the staff seem happy and smiling. The location and actually restaurant is old school beautiful.

The not so good points were that I ordered a steak. Medium cook. What I got was an overcooked piece of rubber. For over $50 for that plate of food, it definitely wasn't worth it and very disappointing. The waiter did offer to change it, but I wanted to eat at the same time as my partner, and if I had to wait for a new steak, then that wouldn't happen. My partners meal was delicious, and the starters were good.

So would we go back, yes, but we would try something different.

Honestly incredibly disappointing experience coming here. I am not exagerating when I say that that was the worst pork chop I have ever tasted in my life. You can see here that I have eaten all the mash potatoes and carrots as I was starved, but was honestly unable to finish more than 2 bites from the pork. My partner's pizza was not much better. One of our favourite cocktails (whiskey sour) also A. had next to no whiskey in it B. was made to taste so unappealing we did not finish it between us. I have never had a whiskey sour I have hated. We normally love scallops, but the entree was also subpar.

So disappointing considering this place had SO much potential. It has stunning grounds outside (whatever they did with the inside of the main blue carpeted room is a bizarre decor choice and detracts from such a pretty place), but we will not be returning.

The music was strangely adjusted up and down in volume and pumping pop beats with bass that fits a young clothing store or bar, not a nice restaurant. The aircon was adjusted halfway through dinner to be abruptly bizarrely cold.

The service was not bad and the wait for food was quick, so they deserve an extra star for that.

Edited to respond to comment by owners. Their whiskey sour was 1/3rd of the glass full to begin with. There was not much to "empty" between two people. Their response is essentially further disappointing behaviour. There would be no need to pretend if you were confident in your own service.

Went for lunch last weekend and really enjoyed it. We were initially sat inside one of the smaller rooms and had to be moved as we couldn’t hear each other speaking. We ended up sitting outside which was really lovely.
For entree we had the Prawn and green apple beignets which we absolutely delicious. I would go back just for these! One of our mains came out cold and we had to ask for it to be heated up which they did very quickly.
The service was great, no complaints there.

Absolutely stunning location that Rowville is lucky to have. The venue and grounds feel like a world away. It offers a unique dining experience and not rushing before or after dining, enjoying a leisurely stroll is a treat.
Dinner was very enjoyable. There are great options, enough variety for a large group. Every diner looked pleased with their meals. Winery quality menu in the burbs is a winning combo for me.
Service has been a hit & miss on the several occasions we have been but hopefully over time that will be ironed out.

Highlights:
- The beef cheek was super tender and flavoursome. A very comforting dish.
- Lemon tart was surprisingly very delicious! Perfect ending.

Tip: Ask to be seated in the main dining room - it is so regal and a sight to take in. Otherwise you will be seated in the smaller dining rooms which is much more quaint and plain.

Second time dining at this restaurant and I'm pleased to say we had an amazing dinner.The place has such a nice, cozy vibe to it with a lovely atmosphere, the place itself was absolutely stunning and the decor and the interior was well thought out. The staff were super friendly and welcoming , (special thanks to Siena and jack) they really paid attention to the little details, making sure we had everything we needed throughout the night which made the experience enjoyable , what really made the night was how genuine the staff were they weren’t just polite—they were genuinely friendly, cracking jokes and taking the time to have a laugh and convo with us while still giving top-notch service. .The food was absolutely delicious, we shared the seared scallops and the pan fried prawns linguine , and both were amazing and definitely worth the money , Everything was cooked perfectly. Perfect venue for a casual catch-up, wedding or special occasions 🙂
Next time ,I would love to come and try their lunch menu or more of the entrees specifically the seared scallops, Looking forward to coming back.

Our Chapter the Cheeky & Carefree Contessass from Aussie Red Hatters, thoroughly enjoyed a delicious lunch at Stamford Park Homestead on Tuesday, with smiling, happy and efficient staff looking after us.
Stamfords lovely settings in each room, full of fascinating decor along with the beautiful gardens also made our day very special.
We are hoping to return on one of our Chapter outings in the future.
