A fantastic venue especially if the weather is fine to enable you to sit on the balcony to take in the majestic view.
The food is great. I ate the lamb rump which was tender and my husband had the rump steak which was also tender.
The kookaburras had our attention for a while as they swooped on empty tables and enjoyed their scraps.

This place is iconic but I have not eaten at the restaurant for at least 10 years and everything is just the way I remember which is incredible. Great food, beautiful views, cosy fireplaces, gorgeous dogs and that rustic feel. Remember to book it is very busy though. Now I know that it is difficult to be perfect but it did loose a star for honesty. Although printed on the menu is 15% surcharge on Sundays and public holidays which is in there rights to do to cover costs in wages but this was a Saturday and not just a coincidence as I waited to confirm with the next guests order and that also displayed surcharge on the screen.

Good food is better with good company and great views. We had all three. Our food was excellent! Staff were extremely busy yet they were observant and helpful. Thanks for a great experience.

Took my elderly dad to St Bernard’s Hotel for a day out... it was really special. He used to come here years ago with my mum for the beautiful views, so it meant a lot to bring him back. The scenery is still just as breathtaking, and the peaceful atmosphere made it the perfect spot for him to relax and reminisce. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and the food was delicious. We even got to see the resident St Bernards, which put a big smile on his face. A truly memorable experience...thank you!

Very busy venue. Would definitely recommend making a booking \ reservation before arrival.
Food and service was good. Be prepared to pay a 15% surcharge on a Sunday. Not sure about other days.
Toilets needed more frequent cleaning. Whilst I appreciate the building is 99 years old, they were quite smelly. I'd imagine this could be easily fixed with more regular cleaning.
Lastly... There are two St Bernard dogs that have been living there since 2006. Super cute old fellas.

Great location, cold beer, bloody beaut meals, and very cute St Bernard dogs to say G'day too.
This is a very popular location for a feed and a drink, and set in very beautiful surrounds.
Highly recommend visiting, but not if you're in a bit of a hurry or time constrained.

Went there today as I am a regular but they asked me to move my van from disability off the premises - have a disabled pass - the reason was that I had my partner and dog in the van locked away safely as I’m aware the pub has a no dogs policy but she was in the van sitting quietly with parent. Anyway I moved it as was meeting for a lunch and did not want to upset them but sadly as I walked back to my van on the road I was going down the hill and twisted my ankle badly as the drive’s has a big drop and now I’m nursing a really bad swelling and out of action for weeks. Not impressed / service has gone downhill here as well recently with 3 meals and drinks costing $150 and taking over an hour.
