I enjoyed a few very good meals at Sporties a mixed grill with garlic sauce,a 500g rump with reef sauce and a 250g Angus steak with pepper sauce.
The steaks were cooked as was ordered and didn't take long.
I was very satisfied with the food and service from the staff and the atmosphere was great.
I recommend going to Sporties.

On the recommendation of the local caravan park we decided to get a meal here. The place was busy on a Saturday night with a good crowd.
We both ordered the same meal, Roast Lamb Shoulder with roast vegetables.
I wish I'd taken a picture before I started as the plate contained 2 tiny pieces of broccoli, 1 piece of carrot and 3 small boiled potatoes that had been deep fried to make them look like they had been roasted all floating on a plate of sickly sweet sauce. A bread roll was dropped into the sauce as well.
As for the lamb, it was like a game of "Where's Wally" because it was virtually all fat as per pictures. If I had a mouthful of meat I would be surprised. Being drowned in the sauce it was impossible to know this before starting. The other meal was virtually left untouched.
The level of service was ok and the atmosphere was good but the meal looked like the dregs of a tray of scrap fat/meat buried under an unpleasantly sweet sauce.
Sadly (for us), the other meals at other tables looked ok. We were just delivered something that was very poor.

And I had tea there last night. He ordered steak ( scotch fillet)
Said it was the best he has ever had out for tea
And mine was salt and pepper squid just so fresh

This place is a jewel. Since the renovations it is immaculate. Had the Pork ribs and omg! It was amazing. Sophia who served us is a credit to her craft! Guys you seriously have one of the best with her!

Dined here on two consecutive nights Friday night and Saturday night. Food was amazing ordering was a nightmare and one of our dishes never arrived due to a miscommunication during ordering. This was resolved by management with an extremely heated exchange claiming that we were at fault. extremely disorganised service.
Definitely will not be returning there are much better options in Port Pirie.

Service & staff fantastic!
Ordered the mixed grill.
Everything but the steak was great but the Porterhouse was over cooked and filled with sinew.
Disappointed because a friend told me the steak here was good and that's why we came.
Might be back to try something else on the menu.

Ordered a scotch fillet steak with veggies and potatoes. Paid $38 I know my steaks well as I used to be a butcher, the scotch fillet was average size and abit chewy for my likings. The potatoes were very dry so I took 1 bit and didn't eat the rest. Won't be going back again that's 4 sure. Too over priced.
