A wonderful 5-hour cruise put on specially for birdwatching, from Goolwa wharf to Tauwitchere barrage and back. Lovely lunch, teas and coffee with home-made slice and biscuits. Friendly and knowledgeable staff gave us a fabulous time, and the skipper knew exactly where to point out some special birds. We saw nearly 50 species of birds, thousands of teal, terns, and cormorants, plus raptors, Cape Barren Geese, pelicans and black swans, even emus bathing in the Coorong, and seals. Looking forward to going on some of their other cruises now!

Porsche Club Vic just had a day tour. Kirk was our tour guide and he is quite amazing. This tour is highly recommended for anyone looking to visit the Coorong and learn the history along with seeing the flora and fauna.

What a great experience to learn more about the Coorong. Joel and Jess were fabulous hosts and very informative. A super lunch and afternoon tea. This is our 3rd outing, first one Murray mouth, then Big Duck Tour and now the half day Coorong cruise. We have enjoyed all and highly recommend.

Wonderful day cruising the Coorong with friends. Such a beautiful part of SA. Thank you to the on board team Kirk and Tia and to wonderful work experience student Django. The lunch was delicious, the commentary and service excellent, thank you from the O’Meara’s and the Rose’s from Victoria.

I was very surprised at the quality of this 1/2 day cruise. In the middle of winter and some very cold nights the day was sunny with cloudless blue skies. Still cool, but flat and calm. Ourselves and other passengers assembled at the wharf and were led on board. A short briefing and then we were off. Various historical sighs were pointed out and then we headed towards the Goolwa Barrages. We had already seen bird life, but at the barrages we saw our first fur seals, and plenty more birds. The Captain kept up an informative talk and we slowly drove past sand dunes and a historic fishing village.
Near the Murray mouth we encountered many more seals, Pelicans, Eastern Great Egret, snake birds and more. he Captain took is right in to the bank and we spent several minutes in very close proximity to the seals.
Moving on we also encountered some bottle nose (I think) dolphins.
Lunch was a fresh lunch box with ham, roast beef, pastrami and salads. I was surprised at the freshness. A vegetarian option was available if notified in advance. Drinks (both alcoholic and non alcoholic) were available to purchase.
The tour included a walk across the dunes to the Southern Ocean and a demonstration of Cockle collecting. As it was out of season these were returned to the sand.
Then we headed back to Goolwa. Overall seeing the wildlife up close and the stark beauty of the ocean shores was very worthwhile. Great value trip and lovely friendly crew.

What a trip!!!! We did the half day cruise and it was fantastic. So much to see and the walk through the Coorong National Park to 90 Mile Beach was special. Great to see the Murray Mouth with dozens of seals and pelicans close to shore. Just spectacular scenery and very friendly cruise hosts. Loved this and would do it again.

The views were amazing and place is so good. We enjoyed every minute of the trip. The staffs were super friendly. The tour guide provides the detail about the place which is just magnificent. On the way to coorong national park there were super cute seals. Different varieties of birds and roos on the way. Short hike to nearest beach was damn good. Sand hills and lots of waves in the beach makes the trip a memorable one.

Really good experience. Very stable waters even when windy. Not something you'll get sea sick on. There's a toilet on board. The food and drinks were great. Very knowledgeable crew, and friendly as well. Easy to get on and off at the warf and on the beach with steps at the Coorong National Park.
