We had the best time watching the sunset and enjoying the time out at sea. We were welcomed with a free drink, I had the Canadian Dry while hubby had a beer. It was a nice experience. A lot of the passengers were celebrating their birthday. The dinner was simple consisting of chicken, ham, coleslaw salad and a dinner roll.

We enjoyed watching others dance while Christian sang and played his guitar to familiar tunes.

We were delayed due to one of the engines failing. We were served free drinks. I had a Peach Cruiser for the first time and it was really delicious.

We were given this trip as a gift from our granddaughter. It was a wonderful couple of hours cruising the Broadwater. Thankfully the rain stopped for us. Great staff , nice fresh meat salad supplied and a couple of drinks. Very relaxing .

We did the 2 hour Broadwater Sunset Dinner Cruise in Feb 2025. Make sure you allow yourself extra time to find a park and get to the boat as it can be difficult to find and get a park. In saying that, the email we got from the company gave good instructions (including a couple of links) but unfortunately my phones GPS was not working properly. As we got there late, the only seating option we had was to sit inside in the middle at some wine barrels and high chairs. This was okay for us but might not suit someone elderly or otherwise infirm. There were 6 seater booths at the windows, these seats were also inside. I didn’t go upstairs but I think they just had some aluminium bench type seats. There were also similar seats outside on the front of the boat. When we arrived we were given a ticket for a complimentary drink from the bar. The dinner was a pre-packed bowl of salad, a piece of chicken and some cold meats. There was also a small bread roll. It was nice but not what I would consider a ‘dinner’. They had a musician called Christian playing the guitar and singing. He was good and the music was not too loud so you could still have a conversation. It was lovely cruising along and the Captain gave us some interesting facts/information about the area. All the staff were friendly and went out of their way to help you. They were good at clearing empty bottles, plates etc. The toilets on board were clean (a very small area though).
We had a good experience and we would recommend it.

We are tourist and we planned the trip months ago. Our intended whale watching was on our last day in gold Coast before we travel to sydney. On the night before the event, we were send an email at 6.30pm informing us of the cancellation. We replied at 7.30pm requesting more information, we only got a reply the next day 8.55am right before boarding. Asking us to rebook the next couple of days, no refund offered.

The initial information told to us was the weather condition was bad for sea, we checked the weather forecast it was green. At the dock, we saw other whale watching and cruise set sail. And at the boat, we met a gentleman who told us he's the electrician send to repair the boat.. Obviously we werent told the whole story about the cancellation... We have requested for a refund. Hopefully we get it.

We had a wonderful time on the cruise last night - a great way to finish our Gold Coast holiday. The staff were friendly and accommodating, the food was lovely and adequate for the number of people onboard. Christian kept the mood with his songs. All in all, a great experience. The evening was a bit overcast but I can just imagine how lovely it would have been if the clouds had cleared.

We really enjoyed the dinner cruise on the Broadwater. The crew were wonderful and the music fantastic. The meal was basic served in a cardboard container but adequate. We were given a free drink to enjoy. I would have preferred going earlier in the year as it got quite dark on the return journey. It was definitely value for money.

With our visitors from UK we went on the diine and cruise evening 2 hour cruse. Friendly staff, great music. The cold buffet of ham, chicken, salad and potato was tasty. A great way ṭo spend the evening. Good value. Beautiful sunset.
