My experience on the Spirit was exceptional. Captain Martin, his wife and chef, Jo, and the entire crew were not only professional, but so friendly and fun. The food was delicious and beautiful. The Spirit was spacious and immaculate. I was the least experienced swimmer of my friends, and had only snorkeled briefly before. The crew made me feel comfortable and the tender was always nearby! We snorkeled (and some went scuba diving) everyday and sometimes twice a day. The snorkeling along the reefs of Papua New Guinea was spectacular. This was the best week and vacation ever! Thank you Jo and Martin!

An experience on Spirit is like no other. If the best of the best is a five star, then this is absolutely a 10. The boat itself is very unusual. It is a “Wave Piercer”. It is very stable and comfortable with a lot of great outdoor living space on the boat. There is an amazing large platform (an outdoor “room”) on the aft deck which can be lowered into the water to create a “beach” anywhere in the sea.

The captain and chef are married, make an extraordinary team and became like family to us. Chef Jo rivals any great chef in the world. She is a genius in the kitchen and her presentations are delicious, beautifully presented, creative and unique. Every meal was a culinary adventure!!!

Captain Martin is absolutely fabulous as well!!! He is an expert in deep sea fishing, scuba diving, and every other water sport imaginable. He is also an expert in the area of the Solomon Islands, Papua New Guinea and Northeast Australia. These are some of the last remote ocean frontiers on the planet and there is no team more capable than the crew on the Spirit to provide the best experience possible on a yacht.

I will never forget our week cruising in Australia aboard Spirit. The boat is luxurious and comfortable with a variety of spaces for gathering with fellow travelers and roomy staterooms. The crew, headed by Captain Martin and Chef Jo, was superb-professional but warm and very pleasant to have around. Food was outstanding and nothing spared for our comfort and enjoyment. Can't imagine a better crew or boat.

We have had the pleasure of chartering Spirit twice. In the WhitSunday Islands and Papua New Guinea. Both experiences were absolutely fantastic! Martin, the captain, and his crew could not have been more professional. They were upbeat and delightful at all times. They anticipated your needs before you even knew you they existed! Jo, the chef, could stand tall against any top New York chef, and could teach them a few things! Spirit is the epitome of luxury and some have referred to her as the “Floating Four Seasons”. We look forward to our next adventure in the Solomon Islands next year.

When it comes to Spirit one must start at the top and try to explain how the "Spirit Experience" is a level above the best.
Crew: almost super human in attitude and service, the crew misses nothing, forgets nothing and anticipates everything, on the second day your breakfast preferences will be ready as will your favorite cocktail before dinner.
Immaculate: is the only word to describe Spirit, every detail, every nook and cranny spotless, staterooms comfy, your bathroom, showers towels and laundry upon your return will look like you were never there, how do they do it (?) and so transparent.
Food: nirvana, chef Jo's name should be changed to 5 Star Jo. Creativity is the mantra for Jo's kitchen, exceptional food, delicious combinations never experienced before, explained and served with perfection.
Captain Martin: Ask and you shall receive, scuba, snorkel, fish the list goes on. I received quite an education from Captain Martin both under water and on navigation.
My Spirit experience was SPECIAL, I would recommend Spirit to the most traveled and to those seeking the trip of a life time.
