Stayed in suite 2 of this charming historic accommodation. Hosts John and Lynette were welcoming and John was happy to share local knowledge about attractions and where to eat. The accom itself was small but had all the amenities required. Shower was hot and had good water pressure which is always a bonus. Location was perfect being next door to The Earl of Spencer Hotel that served great meals and also only a couple minutes walk to town. The only downsides were minor in that you could hear what was going on in the cottage next door, floor boards creaked noisily and as we're tall people, we found the bed too small.

Well located for all the attractions of the City of Albany. Centre only a short walk away. Located close to the Heritage Inn ‘The Earl of Spencer', great food and wine/beers. Also close to a great Indian Restaurant, Albany Indian Tandoori Restaurant, fantastic food!!!|Accommodation disappointing, dismal room and noisy neighbours. Room on different levels. so you had to be careful walking around. If you quaint, you like this accommodation.

I'd give more than five stars if I could! Location is perfect, close to town but not on the highway. I didn't notice any noise from the nearby pub even though there was live music Sunday night. I absolutely LOVE old buildings and the owners happily accommodated my request to shift my booking from Suite 4 to Suite 3 to be in the heritage building. Beautifully and sensitively renovated to give all the creature comforts whilst retaining character. Kitchenette is well equipped with microwave, toaster, kettle and sandwich press, and the coffee plunger was supplied with good quality ground coffee (I am fussy about my coffee).
Jigsaw puzzle and a few paperbacks were a welcome addition to amuse myself.
I had an issue during my stay which was entirely of my doing and the owners were very responsive and helpful. I would definitely stay again when returning to Albany for work or leisure.

Location very good especially the proximity to "The Earl" oub which does the best beer and food on the planet. Rooms vary, i feel, we were in Suite 2 which looks like one of the smaller rooms. WiFi had a fault while we were there but the public holiday made it hard for the very responsive owner to fix. Would stay again.

Quaint old building converted to holiday rooms , our suite had bedroom , lounge/ kitchenette & bathroom. Very suitable for a couple. Centrally placed & next door to the Earl of Spencer, a real pub with character good beer & food

Really great rooms in a converted 1880's house. Provides a great, comfortable stay and is, literally, about 100 steps from an historic pub which serves great value and tasting meals. Handy if you don't want to avail yourself of the basic in room kitchen.
Nothing to dislike and we'd happily stay here again.

Stayed here for two nights. Beautiful location, easy access to everything. Units very dramatically in size and facilities. I stayed in unit two which consists of two rooms and a bathroom with a kitchenette seating friends stayed in unit, one which consists of three large rooms a full kitchen with seating for for a lounge in an oversize bedroom And a washer and dryer.|Getting very comfortable, bath, towels, oversized and fluffy.
