This has to be one of the most exhilarating adventures experiences we have had to date. Big thanks to David and Norm who made my husband and I so welcome. We were not hurried and our 1001 questions were answered fully and in depth. These true gents are so genuine and their knowledge and expertise is priceless. My husband had an incredible flight and said everything that was happening in the airplane was explained in detail. As a spectator I thoroughly enjoyed the experience too, whilst Hubby was having all the fun up in the air , Norm took the time to show me his "Teachers Pet" T6 and very kindly allowed me to have a seat to experience what it was like inside. It was fascinating! It really is such an honour to be able to get up close to these very special aircraft and to be able to take that seat in history, where so many pilots have sat before. We wondered how many have done so, and what their stories might have been . To be able to get to experience this flight for my husband was such a privilege. If you are looking for a flight like no other, please book with Southern Warbirds. Keeping these beautiful aircraft flying is so important to keep the history alive. Highly recommended.

Must do at least once in a lifetime experience! Best pilot, best ground crew , best day! Hubby’s bday present and it couldn’t have been more perfect for a WW2 history and flight buff. Totally in his element and nailed the wing over, barrel and victory rolls and loop- the-loop. Still talking about it breathlessly days later. Thanks so much David and Norm, such a privilege to share your bird and just a little bit special after Anzac Day.

Absolutely brilliant! The flight was a birthday gift from my wife, and to fly in a T-6 Texan/Harvard really is a dream come true. David (pilot) and Norm (groundcrew/owner) are fantastic professionals and their passion is palpable. Their communications leading up to and on the day of the event were exceptional. We had a few winds up in the air but the aircraft felt steady as a rock and if you think the Blue Mountains look good from ground level, you should see them from 4000 feet! Stunning! I cannot recommend this enough; if you have the opportunity to take a flight with Southern Warbirds, all I can say is do it!

I gifted the Aerobatic Adventure Flight to my partner for his birthday and he loved every second of it. David and Norm are so welcoming and passionate about what they do and you know you'll be in safe hands from the get go. It was a special day and I couldn't be more thankful to David and Norm for making this a once in a life time experience for him. I highly recommend it, my partner just wanted to do it all over again. It's a unique experience and one you won't forget.

This was a gift for my husband who is passionate about warbirds.
Dave and Norm have maintained this beautiful old plane perfectly.
The communication pre flight from Dave was excellent.
Both friendly and knowledgeable.
The flight was tailored to what my husband wanted to do, some aerobatics at the beginning, above the airport so we could see, then he was allowed to take control of the aircraft for a while.
Thank you so much. My husband will be talking about it for months.
Thank you so much for the experience. The spectators enjoyed it too.

This was a birthday gift for my husband who is a bit of a WWII history buff. What an experience!! Norm and David were very welcoming and knowledgeable. Miss Fire, our T6 fighter training plane, was polished to perfection and the smile on hubby's face was worth every dollar and more. The aerobatics were a bonus and once in a lifetime thrill. A very accessible and safe experience which we highly recommend. Thanks Southern Warbirds for a fabulous memory.
