We went to Bendigo for a holiday and being Filipino decent we had to try this restaurant and was really impressed with the service, food restaurant setting and atmosphere.

Solid food, tasteful and authentic Filipino food.

A shame they didn't have the halo halo. Hopefully we will try before going back to Melbourne.

Decent Filipino cuisine eating place with decent selection of the pork stay, crispy pork leg.

Food is not bad, to be fair this is the first time I tried Filipino food and it's quite good.

I was expecting a lechon but maybe it's a bit too hard to prepare.😜

Definatwly should give it a try if you are in the area.

Vibe is kinda mixed, I'm not sure if it's suppose to be a cafe, eating place or family restaurant. I think it's better to be used to cater for dining place rather than a Cafe and I think they should turn the music down a little as it can be a bit too noisy.

We drove 2 hours from Melbourne to try out this filipino restaurant and it was worth the trip.

Friendly staff, clean, nice atmosphere.

Most importantly the food was delicious. Every dish was prepared and presented very well. Every flavour reminded me of home cooked dishes during my childhood in the Philippines.

Not a belly was wanting and every craving satisfied by the end of the meal.

We will definitely revisit this place once again.

With one waiter, he did a great job managing all the tables. The food was delicious and it was very kid friendly. Recommend it for when visiting Bendigo.

Had the pork sisig and the pork ribs - it was delicious and would highly recommend.

The sisig literally took me back to the Philippines - with pockets of fat and juicy meat exploding in my mouth.

The pork ribs were very juicy and meat falling off the bone. The garlic rice was a good balance of not too much garlic and a good portion of rice.

The ube milkshake was so good in my mouth - but not to my wallet.

Am definitely coming back here to try the other dishes! Would add photos but ate it too fast hahahaa

We have eaten at many filipino restaurants, and this was one of the best. The staff were very polite and helpful and the atmosphere there was very pleasant. The food was extremely flavoursome and a joy to eat and the desserts were yum.

By far my favorite place to eat in bendigo! I tried other Asian restaurants (Thai, Vietnamese, and Chinese), unfortunately their food are either too salty, too sweet or makes me feel thirsty on the second day. But this place is different. It surprised me how tasty their food is and not salty! Their service is just amazing. Super super friendly staff to our baby and we felt so welcome!

Soul food offers authentic Filipino cuisine. One of my favourite is the barramundi in coconut cream. Another is Lomi, its tasty and has lots of elements added in the soup good to share for a group. Every time we are in Bendigo I always make sure to drop by. Only hassle is the parking although we usually manage to get one. The owners are friendly specially Isabel, she usually take time to talk with the customers. Been coming back to this place since they open at Mitchell St and then moved to High Street. Highly recommended.
