I would strongly advise against visiting this place. I went in for lunch, expecting the same great taste and quality that Soul Origin is known for, but I was utterly disappointed. I ordered the crumbed chicken pasta for $15.50, only to be served food that smelled awful clearly stale and inedible. On top of that, it was completely tasteless.

The service was just as bad. The staff were unprofessional, and the rude behavior of one particular Indian woman (this is not about race, but about attitude) was unacceptable. I have never encountered such a terrible experience before.

I highly recommend saving your money by going elsewhere. Avoid this place at all costs!

To the new owner：

The barista lady who was on duty on 2nd Dec morning was super rude to customer. Looks like lidian background. Not friendly at all！！！ （No racist intent just trying to give more information ）

If you want your business beat the old owner, Please train your staff how to serve customers first！I believe that addressing this issue will help maintain the welcoming atmosphere that I have come to expect from your coffee shop.

I would appreciate it if you could look into this matter and take the necessary steps to ensure that future customers, including myself, are treated with the professionalism and courtesy we deserve！

I regret not reading the reviews before visiting this place for lunch. The customer service was dreadful. An Indian woman serving there was incredibly rude. Anybody in that team trying to teach her what a decent customer service is would be a waste of time. When I asked for a chicken salad, she served me mostly green leaves. When I requested fewer leaves, she insisted that everything needs to be served in proportion, despite only offering leaves and no chicken. When I asked her to remove some of the leaves, she added just a couple of tiny pieces of chicken and then inquired about what else I wanted! Leaving me thinking.. is she for real?! Based on my experience, I would NOT recommend this place.

First and last time I will go here. Ordered medium buffalo chicken and received a plate full of shredded red cabbage and 3 pieces of chicken. Not worth $13 when I can go next door to Coles and buy a whole cabbage for $5. Literally the worst I’ve experienced. Gives the franchise a bad name.

I should have read reviews first as it seems this is a common complaint. I also had the very rude and pushy Indian man.

Their coffee is real good.. Ordered a flat white and an oat latte. A balanced, rich, and complex flavor profile, with a smooth and pleasant mouthfeel. A pleasant aroma, and the taste is neither too bitter nor too acidic.. Just remember to get an extra shot at no cost for those large (16oz) sizes to ensure the flavour doesn't get washed out, as it comes with two shots originally.

Located in Canberra centre mall. Good collection of salads. Reasonable prices. Chicken Caesar salad is recommended.

Bought a crumb chicken pasta and chicken schnitzel salad from soul origin and the lady literally only put few pieces chicken, I told her that you barely put chicken in it and she said I need to pay EXTRA $4 for additional chicken. Not being greedy but with the same price, we even can get better food like Banh Mi from MS BA CO. Now I regretted to even bother buy this food from this place!

Can you please add more to your wraps, they are dry & bland There is no avocado in the avocado chicken, just a lot of lettuce. why am I paying $10 for a mouthful of lettuce.
