Went in for lunch and got the butchers big uncle (wagyu, cheese, onions, lettuce, bacon, pickles & bbq sauce). Burger itself tasted ok, very fresh ingredients. Not sure there was any cheese, however that’s fine. The bbq sauce was a bit intense which took away from the flavour of the beef unfortunately l. The beer battered steakhouse fries were phenomenal (quite possibly up there with the best I’ve had anywhere). Chips had texture and were perfectly seasoned. Customer service is as good and food came out in a decent time. Very clean shop (located within Joe Papandrea at Greenway plaza next door to Joe’s fruit market).

My first time here was really good - fantastic juicy burger. Returned today for a burger at lunch and regret spending on a dry burger that really missed the mark. $19 for a very underwhelming porchetta panini with no crackling. Fry cook only started cooking our order after we returned from our shop next door. So overall, pretty disappointed and won't be returning. A star each for the first good burger and the nice chips.

Starting with customer service, it did seem like he was not having the best day and felt rushed but understandable as it was quite busy and he was the only person cooking. Food was phenomenal, I ordered the ZIO (the butchers big uncle) 9/10 for me only reason not a 10 was I would’ve liked the patty to be a little thicker although one of the freshest tasting burgers I’ve ever had in my life. Chips were a straight 10 with a nice crunch and fluffiness. Also tried my girlfriend’s order, Schnitzel DOB (Daughter of a butcher) Chicken was crispy on the outside and beautifully juicy and tender. 10/10 for her, 9/10 for me as the bread so soft but was a little thick, overall an amazing experience and will be returning.

Great butchery and an impressive menu of burgers and dine in/ takeaway menu. All the meat cooked or fresh from their attached butchery and you'll have some of the best Aussie Wagyu beef patties going round. Well worth the visit.

From the first moment you step into the butchery, the interior decor screams out luxe high-quality premium meats. Even the presentation of the staff was top notch - dressed in button up shirts and bow-ties.

Ordered the NIC burger! At first glance, the breading on the exterior looked like that hard fry; where it's been kept in the fryer a few minutes too long. I was proven wrong, the chicken had a nice crunch factor whilst the meat was tender and succulent.
Just like a KFC Zinger burger, only better!

Chips were a bit too salty for my liking.

For $14 a burger a patty with mustard some sauce n gherkin. Should have read the sign needed lettuce n tomato n beetroot. Biggest down fall was watching both of them prepare the food hands over everything. watched him handle the cash register and did he wash his hands No...the burger was nice.not worth $14 for chips n drink $6 extra

Son of a Butcher cultivates this history as well as reputation and applies it to their burgers, ribs and sides. Recommend to try this place as it resides within a butcher so you know the meat will have quality!

One of Sydneys best butchers. Outstanding service with a very friendly and great attitude towards customer service. A massive selection of meats. Plenty of parking and also you can pickup a lunch meal from the kitchen located right inside the store.
