Something socials did a backdrop for me for my gender reveal, I gave her very short notice and what she was able to accomplish in that time was insane! Maku is very talented, she recommended colours and sizes and i trusted her vision!

My experience with Something Social was beyond amazing! ☺️ I found Maku and her business “Something Social” on Instagram & immediately loved her work through her posts. I saw she had a giveaway going at the time so I thought I’d enter and try my luck ✨ Her prices for the setup were very reasonable, taking into consideration the setup time & all the balloons she’d need to use so I was happy to pay if I didn’t win the giveaway. You pay a deposit of $100 to solidify your date of the event & booking. The giveaway was drawn & I was the lucky winner! Maku was happy to refund me the deposit however I did add on a sign & easel which was an additional cost, separate from the giveaway, and Maku refunded me the difference. She was very accommodating & made sure we were happy with everything & also made sure to check in with us before finalising! Her attention to detail is outstanding, her vision of what the setup would look like exceeded my expectations & her work on the night was just chefs kiss! Throughout the process of organising everything, she was very open & communicated anything that I needed to know. Overall I would highly recommend & encourage Something Social for your next event!! We will definitely be using her again! ?

From the moment I shared my vision and color preferences, Maka's communication and effort to the set up were exceptional. When I saw the setup, I was absolutely amazed. The space looked stunning, and all my guests commented on how lovely it was. Thank you Something Social, for making my celebration so special! ☺️

We used Maku for our engagement party and WOW what an amazing photowall and cake display. So easy to comunicate with and our photos have just turned out so beautifully with the display in the background. We will use something social for all of our special events when in cairns! If i could leave more than a 5 star review i would!

Very happy with the services of Something Social. We hired a backdrop with personalised wording and balloon garland for our baby shower and was very happy with the end product. It looked gorgeous and we received a lot of compliments. Maku was polite, friendly and very communicative throughout the whole process. Thanks Maku!

Reached out over Instagram for my baby shower and came back with information, ideas and suggestions almost immediately! I was super happy with how everything turned out and organising was painless and easy. Can't fault a thing. The balloon garland was stunning everyone was super impressed with the quality.
