Had a great time at Sofia Camberwell with my family! The pasta was amazing—perfectly cooked and full of flavor. The desserts were a highlight too, definitely worth saving room for! Big thanks to Ramy, our waiter, for the fantastic service. He was super friendly and made the whole experience even better. Can’t wait to come back!

Sofia is hands down the best Italian spot in Melbourne! The food was incredible—generous portions, rich flavours, and everything cooked to perfection. The focaccia was the best I’ve ever had—so fresh and delicious! The pasta was also outstanding, perfectly cooked with great sauces.

A special shout-out to Serene, who made our dining experience exceptional. She was warm, welcoming, and truly went above and beyond to make us feel valued as guests. She not only gave us fantastic recommendations but also took the time to ensure every detail of our meal was perfect. Her customer focus and genuine hospitality made a lasting impression on us. Fast service and warm hospitality. Can’t wait to come back!

We’ve been to this restaurant several times now, and every time the experience has been just as good — if not better. The food is consistently delicious, full of authentic Italian flavor, and beautifully served. But what really keeps us coming back is the service, especially from Ramy. He’s always friendly, attentive, and goes out of his way to make sure everything is perfect. It’s rare to find that level of consistency and care. Highly recommend this place — and if you’re lucky enough to be served by Ramy, even better!

I visited Sofia Camberwell with a friend who’s a regular, and I can see why they keep coming back! We started with a garlic and cheese pizza to share, which was deliciously cheesy and full of flavour. For my main, I had the chicken parmigiana, which was perfectly cooked and generously portioned. To top it off, I had the sticky date pudding for dessert.

The staff were fantastic, especially the man looking after us—super friendly and attentive, making the whole experience even better. Great food, great service—highly recommend!

They are just a 3-minute walk from the Camberwell station or take the 72 tram and get down very close to them.
Some of you already know them because of their reputation and their length of operations.
It was, however, my first time trying them out, and I was surprised by the size of the shop and the crowd.
We ordered spaghetti marinara and pepperoni pizza. They also have some yummy desserts, but I skipped them.
I think this is a place for Italian lovers

Huge portions for great prices! They were very kind and flexible with our reservation for eight people when we were running late. Food came quickly and was delicious and staff were very proactive about providing takeaway containers and ensuring we had a good meal. Good variety of vegetarian options as well as seafood and different meats. We would recommend their half/half pizzas for good value.

I took my kids to dine yesterday and ordered a large pizza, cheese garlic bread, pasta and chicken Caesar salad. My kids and I only ate 3 slices of pizza so we decided to take the rest away. When I got home, I found that the pizza had been bitten and there were only 4 slices left.

Went here yesterday, we ordered a lot of food, everything was ok. The garlic bread was cheesy, the risotto was a bit overcooked but I love the flavor. The pesto penne needs more flavor but the fettuccine was amazing, I think my friend ordered the avocado fettu something. The pizza meat lover was average, nothing to special. The ice cream didnt taste very nice, I like the coffee flavor but the rest just taste very average. The salmon spaghetti was ok, needs a bit more salt. The total was 280$ for 8 people, the portion here is huge, I reckon 2 people can have 1 plate.
