I recently contracted a fairly important catering job to Social Hub.
Vicki & Sharn and the team bent over backwards to make my event a success.
They were incredibly flexible with my requests and served up an absolute feast of delights.
The team came and ran the Bar on the evening, and the floor service, they even dressed up in costume, the event ran like clockwork.
I could not have been more grateful, and cannot speak highly enough of this team.

Social is a lovely spot at the southern end of town, located right next to the main road (but with enough bush to make it not feel like it). There is indoor and outdoor (covered) seating, giving a lovely laid back vibe to this local spot.

Coffee was nice and seemed well made, though there was minimal latte art. Coffee was very well priced for the area.

The food was pretty average in quality, and incredibly small for the price. Compared to some of the other spots in Helensburgh (albeit in the centre), you're getting a lot less, at a lower quality, for more money.

Staff were friendly and seemed to know almost every customer. I suspect this place is a spot for locals and that the main intention (as per the name) is to socialise over a coffee rather than to visit and eat food.

Highchairs, as well as kids toys and ample parking, were all available.

New owners. Food was pretty good for Brekky. Avocado toast was good - wife had eggs Benny , the sauce is not shop made. Good atmosphere , clean. Coffee was good.

Food was average at best. “Super fluffy pancakes” had zero fluff to them and were as if they had been frozen and thawed out. Fish and chips - chips were stone cold and fish was scalding, took over an hour and we were only 1 of 3 tables.
Staff were uninterested and did not want to be there.
This was a booked lunch, not a walk in.

Won’t be returning.

The food is amazing, they got a small menu but my god it tastes so good. I tried Brekie bun, mouth watering. My wife tried Avo smash sourdough toast, it was one of a kind, they added a hint of mint, butter and some spices and the whole combination was amazing. Decent long black as well.

Very pretty place to get some plants and have some brunch! Food is yummy and there is a wide range to pick from. The nursery is a little messy as I had to hunt around for edible flower pots. Other than that, all is great!
