Wanted to dislike because of the terse, perfunctory service, yet impossible because frankly the pepper pie and sausage roll were great. I'm not sure if they have sauce there but we took them away and had homemade relish at home which I prefer anyhow.
Not certain what the white chunks are in sausage roll - either fat ir unmixed bread, looked grey and unappetising but wete delicious. Pepper pie had tender steak and didn't blow the heads off with pepper. Phew.
Would highly recommend, with no expectations of friendly service.

Bloody great egg and bacon roll with divine coffee blend. Really good place here opens at 5am in Glen Innes. Nice vibe, comfy seats, awesome cakes and slices.

Good bakery with a wide range of products, which can sell out of products later in the day (as I had noticed the day I went, but at least the lady serving was happy to mention what the pies were, which were left). Friendly staff. Reasonable prices. Not too far off from the main street.

Found this bakery while searching for a coffee in Glen Innes. What a wee gem it is, open at 5 am every morning until late. E returned for breakfast the next day. If you're visiting Glen Innes I highly recommend a visit to Smeaton for breakfast and the comfy chajrs

The bakery items are great quality. The coffee is a bit strong for my liking but good. Staff are friendly and helpful. Decor is excellent and really sets the mood. Luxury and comfort.

Just called in to your bakery today 19/08/24 been to alot of bakeries in my time and travels and we tried, sausage roll,beef cheese and carolamised onion sandwich , beef bacon cheese and maple pie, missed out on your beef pastie l take it their good because you had none left plus coffee and hot chocolate l have to say we rated it all 10/10 best we've had to date grate concept and flavour well done to all .
