When my mother needed to be admitted on short notice, Peter Georgiou worked wonders, showing unmatched kindness, proactivity, and a deeply accommodating approach. Hugh Lang, the Care Manager, exudes a remarkable aura of calm and compassion that reassures both residents and their families. Across the board, from nursing and patient care to management and administration, the entire team exemplifies respect and unwavering integrity in every aspect of their work. Their dedication and professionalism set a standard of care that is truly inspiring.

After a fall and two fractures, I needed 3 weeks respite after rehab. I was surprised that I would have to spend those 3 weeks in an aged care facility! Even though I'm in my 70s, I didn't consider myself ready for that. It did help, however, having seen my parents through some years in a nursing home, so I knew what to expect.
From the initial contact, I was impressed by the communication, professionalism, empathy and support I received from senior management right through to the medical staff and carers. Every need was addressed (incl a small fridge for just one of my tablets) and there were plenty of staff members offering assistance at a moment's notice. They all had smiles, a sense of humour, and kept everything sparkling clean - not just my room but the rest of the facility.
The meals were varied and tasty, and the staff encouraged me to join in the activities that occurred throughout each week.
I have no hesitation in recommending this facility for your family or, indeed, yourself, when considering the move into aged care. I was made to feel welcome and was encouraged to regard the facility as my home while I was there.

Cannot speak highly enough of the care and compassion my mother received. The staff across all the different job roles were professional and ready to help in anyway. Mum had no complaints with anything. Loved the food and the activities provided and the happy vibe around the home. When it came to the end of her time there I was treated with empathy and guidance throughout which helped me immensely. I will be forever grateful .

I was very worried when I was told that I had to go into a care facility then I was sent to Skye Lodge in all honesty it was more like a 5 star motel I enjoyed every minute there they have so many things for people to do the meals are fabulous the workers are amazing and all go out of their way to help in any way they can if I ever need to go in again it will certainly be there .if I was rating it out of 10 I would rate it at 12 that is how good it was and I thank all of them for my time there
