Although this is an older resort, it is kept in immaculate condition. The units are large with everything you could need The gardens are beautiful and the pools and spas spotless. Lots of room outside on your personal balcony or around the pool for relaxing with a coffee. The staff are welcoming,friendly and very helpful. Shops are close by and there is a tavern next door

Had an enjoyable week at Silver Sands. The gardens and pool are attractive. The pool is in the middle of the rooms and can be noisy when kids are using it, but might be better outside of school holidays.
The staff were friendly and helpful, but hours are 9-5 with reduced hours on Sundays and holidays.
The location is only a few hundred metres from the beach and a small set of local shops, but it is a drive into Mandurah if that matters to you.
The 2 bed suites are well equipped and fairly comfortable, but feel very bland - and there is no stove.

We had a great stay at Silver Sands for an 7 night stay with my family in a large 2 bedroom and 2 bath apartment. Altough the property is aging there is plenty to do .The resort is a short walk from beach and also not to far from shops and the town. Very comfortable and large apartment. Also has washing machine and dryers in the apartment. The staff were friendly and helpful. Just only 2 small issues I bought my own kitchen knives as they were blunt and no good for a good cut of ribeye on BBQ's and the sofa mattress was very tired and uncomfortable to sleep on. Great gardens outside In general it is a great place with Pools, Saunas, Tennis courts, and Spa,s and just a lounge to get away from the kids. I would highly recommend a 7 night stay at the resort. A++++ stay have rebooked next year . Great work thank you !!!

Enjoyed an incredible 7 night stay with my family in a spacious 2 bedroom/2 bathroom unit. The resort is located a short walk from the ocean and felt very safe with locked gates + security.
The unit came with everything required to enjoy our stay (crockery, cookware etc) and the smart TV having streaming service capabilities was a big bonus.

The pool & game room facilities were very enjoyable. The resort was kept in a very clean & tidy condition.

The staff were very friendly, welcoming and accommodating - always happy to help with anything we needed.
I have marked the services down to 4 stars at it would have been nice to enjoy the spa-sauna after 8pm, perhaps this could be extended until 10pm.

I have marked the rooms down to a 3 as they require some work to bring them up to modern times, could have more comfortable bedding & much nicer decor.

Overall, I would recommend the resort to anyone looking for a nice getaway!

We stayed for three weeks in a two-bedroom unit at Silver Sands. We had plenty of room, all was clean and ready for our occupancy on arrival. Loved being able to swim in the heated pool every day.

Great location, close to Mandurah city centre and train station. Within waking distance to IGA for essentials. Rooms were clean and well stocked with everything you need for self catering. Amenities all well maintained - hot tubs and heated pool was fantastic. Overall a wonderful stay, would definitely recommend.

Nice place to stay not noisy even when people are swimming. There is a mini tennis and golf playing area for free. The indoor pool is pretty cool, but the chlorine is pretty strong. The petrol station is just out by the main road and there is a bakery and IGA down the road.

Silver Sands has been there for as long as I can remember and over the years have stayed there many time. It has kept up with the times, and the units are as good as any others. The facilities are great. Would be nice to be able to get into the adult areas without having to pick up keys before 5pm as sometimes its just a last minute "oh lets go down for a game of billards"
