Loved this place, the owner was so friendly and took the time to explain all the facts about the wine and process. He was so knowledgeable, funny and kind. There were plenty of food products made by local produce to buy. We did the wine tasting of 9 wines which included sparkling, red, white, rose and dessert wines. Plus the tasting Platter, which had olives, fig jam, chocolate and two types of cheese. All made from local produce.

This is a lovely location. We do a lot of wine tastings, without losing site of the wines themselves, your host makes or breaks the experience. When you book, ask for Raj, why, because he is the consummate host. Everything is locally sourced and as carbon neutral as can be, it’s a great story! The cheese plate with fig jam accompanies the wine tasting beautifully. Also dog friendly, Molly Dog loved her time here and enjoyed a drink herself (from the well placed dog water bowl). Now everyone charges for a wine tasting, but Raj donates a percentage to charity, you even get to choose which one by placing the provided cork into one of several charity bins, how good is that! This place is big, on the grounds (but out of the way) are around 8 Tesla charging stations, what a great place to visit whilst your car gets a recharge! After joining the wine club and buying a bunch of of lovely wines, including the Ducks Nuts Shiraz which Is delicious, we went to our lunch booking in the restaurant next to the cellar door. This is a beautiful space under the old Silo’s, food was spectacular as was the service! The wine was an easy choice having just completed the wine tasting next door. What a lovely experience I had at Solos Estate today! On my way back to Sydney, I made a stop at the estate to charge my Tesla at the supercharger and decided to explore the winery while I was there. We headed inside for a wine tasting, eager to discover what the estate had to offer, and we were not disappointed.

Raj, the owner who guided us through the tasting, truly made the experience memorable. From the moment we arrived, he provided exceptional customer service, making us feel welcomed and at ease. Raj’s passion for the wines was evident, and he took the time to educate us about the unique characteristics of each wine, including their origins, flavor profiles, and the winemaking process. It was fascinating to learn from someone who clearly has a deep appreciation for the craft.

Beyond the wines, Raj shared with us his personal story—how he came to be part of Solos Estate and his experiences in the industry. His warmth and genuine nature made the tasting feel more like a conversation with an old friend than a formal experience. It added a special touch to our visit, turning a simple wine tasting into a rich and engaging journey.

Of all the wines we sampled, the rosé stood out as a must-try. Its vibrant flavors and refreshing finish made it the perfect complement to a relaxed afternoon at the estate. I would highly recommend stopping by Solos Estate for a tasting if you find yourself in the area. It’s not just about the delicious wines but also the welcoming atmosphere and the people, like Raj, who make it such a special place.

Raj the man! Silos is owned by Raj. He is so accommodating and friendly throughout our wine experience. We came here with our family and it was our parents first time tasting wine. Raj was very informative and patient. The wines were amazing and we highly recommend this winery if you’re ever down in Berry. Beautiful scenery outside for beautiful photos! We will definitely come visit when we are down in Berry again.

A fantastic location for your next event. We held my 60th birthday (themed - Rocky Horror Picture Show) and Raj and the team at Silos could not have been more helpful. The venue was perfect, the food was absolutely amazing and the staff were so friendly, checking in to make sure we and I had the time of my life; and I did! Highly recommend Silos Winery Estate for your next event.
