Our wedding at State Library Victoria, hosted by Showtime Event Group, was truly the best day of our lives. I never fully believed it when people said their wedding day is the best day of their lives, but I’m so glad to say I was wrong. It was perfect from start to finish, and we owe so much of that to Chloe, Yas, Pierce, and the entire Showtime team.

Chloe, our Senior Wedding Producer, did a phenomenal job. She was attentive to our needs throughout the entire day, even anticipating what we might want before we realised it ourselves. Her communication was exceptional, both in the lead-up and on the day. Everything was clear, and she guided us step by step, making sure we knew what needed to be done to ensure everything ran seamlessly.

The venue was breathtaking and looked like an absolute dream. Every detail was taken care of, and the atmosphere was beyond magical. The food was sensational, leaving our guests raving about every dish. Nothing went wrong, and everything was faultless!

Working with Chloe was a breeze, even when I sent anxious emails or made frantic phone calls about misplaced signage. She handled everything with such professionalism and calm, which in turn helped me feel relaxed. I was genuinely a happy, calm bride, and that made the day even more special.

Showtime Event Group, thank you for giving us a wedding day that was better than we could have ever imagined. Your expertise and dedication made everything perfect, and we couldn’t be more grateful.

Rebecca is a gem! She was our wedding producer and ultimately made our wedding vision come to life.
It felt like nothing was too difficult for Bec and she showed us patience and support throughout the entire process. From the larger scaled details such as the seating plan, to the finer details, such as making sure the ribbons on our menus were looking cute, Bec made sure everything was perfect.

My husband and I had our wedding here a year ago, the night was magical with a few minor hiccups - coffee and tea weren't served, and some guests found that their meals weren't right but all in all everyone had a great time.

The organisation of the team was wonderful, we had the luxury of dealing with Rachel and then moving onto Claire, when she moved on, and there was not much we had to worry about. The venue was amazing and we are so grateful to have such a wonderful day.

Extremely lousy on the food they served for vegetarians.They charged more than $200 per head. Vegetarian entrees were three very thin slices of green tomato topped with 4 thin slices of cucumber and 3 small sundried tomatoes. Mains were 3 discs of sweet potato on some sauce. Really poor hospitality. If you have vegetarians in the wedding party please do not book here.

The team at showtime are amazing to deal with! We postponed so many times they went above and beyond to ensure that we were looked after. We loved the cargo hall , its so beautiful, everything was magical and everyone was so helpful. Thanks to Rachel, Brad and Ryan and the team for all your support and wonderful day. Came here for a candlelight concert. Beautiful setting but the service and organisation could have been much much better. Strange that the bar was only serving wine and spirits, but not beers or cider. Ordering drinks was unnecessarily slow as they did not have their EFT machines ready.

As for getting here, the best option is probably DFO South Wharf but it doesn’t come cheap. I parked across the highway which was free street parking and walked here, about 10 mins.
