Absolutely fantastic experience last Saturday. Joined the dive with this shop. The guys really looked after us and made it a superb dive. Pointed out all the aquatic creatures. Supplied nitrox tank for hire. I found them super safe and reliable. I then followed up with a dive at Bushrangers.

I had an unforgettable dive with the wonderful shop staff, Bonnie, and our enthusiastic dive leader, Mick, who’s turned his white truck into a true diver’s truck. Their love for and deep knowledge of the local creatures made for an incredible experience. We were treated to amazing sightings of blue knee spiders (thanks for the magnifying glass, Bonnie!!), frog fish, blue devils, yellow nudibranchs, octopuses, a charming turtle, a grumpy wobbegong, a very pregnant grey nurse shark, and several pygmy seahorses (Mick even pointed out which ones were expecting!). I’m so grateful for the time we shared and hope to dive with this fantastic team again, whether locally or abroad. Take care!

We had an awesome day diving with Craig and Mick at the gutter! All the staff at the dive shop are really lovely and helpful, so the whole day was a fantastic experience. Using the scooters on the second dive was great fun, a really new experience!.. Thanks everyone!

A fantastic experience from start to finish. I did a Saturday morning social dive and it was wonderful. The team in the shop really know their stuff, and they sort out all your gear, and load it into their truck for you.

The dive was just off "The Gutter", a small inlet that you do a shore entry into. During the dive I saw tons of amazing fish that I hadn't seen anywhere else in Australia, including a Weedy Sea Dragon, a tiny sea horse, and an octopus guarding her eggs inside a little cave. After the dive, the truck is equipped with a hot water heater, so you can have a warm shower right there in the carpark!

Mick, our divemaster, was terrific, super friendly, calm, and caring about us during the dive. He's done thousands of dives in that area, knew it like the back of his hand, and was keen to share his knowledge.

I can't wait to go back and dive with the team again.

Amazing group of people here, the sort of dive shop that makes you feel part of the family as soon as you walk in. I’ve been diving since 2002 and have had some of my best dives here, thanks to the expert guiding and critter finding. The team really go above bd beyond to get you sorted out. I was searching for a replacement underwater camera part that is no longer manufactured so Mick went to his workshop and made it from scratch for me - incredible. I would happily roadtrip up from Melbourne just to spend a weekend diving with the Shellharbour SCUBA crew. Thanks everyone ? and happy diving.

Joined the social dive last weekend and had a great customer service experience. My partner and I ended up not joining the group but diving just as a buddy team and got very clear and helpful instructions how to dive the site. Also because it's such a shallow site we dove two dives on one tank and ended up getting our money back for the second rental tank (which surprised me cause doesn't happen with many shops around here!) Thank you!

Social Dives during holiday seasons, Sat & Sun with instructors/guides are life saving important. They may have double tanks with nitrox. Some cheaper dive shops may only have equipment to hire so inexperienced divers need to avoid.
Though fresh certified divers can dive together legally, when things go wrong they can hardly save themselves. I believe the doctor stood by on shore during the Open Water Course & Social Dive is essential so I cannot thank them enough.

I did the Open Water Dive Course here in December 2022 with Bob, Bonnie, Joel and Abbey and cannot recommend them enough! The instructors were professional and knowledgeable, and the course was fun and informative. I felt safe and confident and had an amazing time exploring the dive sites! Their rental rates are extremely competitive and I will definitely be back to do the nitrox course and social dives as soon as I can!
