Choosing to work with Shaun Gray Events was the best decision I made while wedding planning. Shaun is a seasoned professional and he uses his expertise to help craft a beautiful and UNIQUE wedding day. I knew that I would be a tough client, because I had some big dreams to accomplish on a budget. Shaun and his team worked tirelessly to make the wedding planning process as seamless as possible.

With other planners, you typically work with 1 planner and the planner will bring assistants you don’t know for the big day. With Shaun, he has a stacked team that helped even in unexpected ways. For example, one of Shaun’s team members, Buruke, accompanied my fiancé and the other groomsmen to their tuxedo fitting. This allowed important information to be communicated to the groom while the groom was allowed to live in the moment with his best friends. Other planners will also only attend a select few vendor appointments, but when I asked if Shaun was attending one of my consultations his answer was always “of course!!”
Wedding planning is hard. Juggling emotions, budgets, expectations, logistics, and the world’s impact on everything is difficult. I unfortunately hired a wedding planner before I met Shaun and his team who made the process even more difficult. When I pivoted and began working with Shaun, it was a completely different experience. I’m honored to say that my wedding was beautifully designed and exceptionally planned by Shaun Gray Events.

Shaun is, in a word, superb. We found it a joy and a comfort to have him on our wedding team—a joy because he does exquisite work and maintains a great attitude, a comfort because we knew we were safely in expert hands. Shaun was our day-of coordinator, but that title doesn’t do justice to his involvement and investment in the event. Beginning several months before the big day, he responded promptly, patiently, and thoughtfully to all our questions (and we asked a lot of questions). Although he is a practiced professional and we were completely new to the process, he treated us with the utmost respect, placing nothing ahead of our intentions and vision as a couple. He took the time to offer advice and recommend revisions when he sensed we were at risk of getting in our own way. However, even when he pushed back on an idea, he was lending the benefit of his ample experience in order to care for our wellbeing so that we could be fully present and bask in the joy of our wedding day. Thanks to Shaun and his team, our wedding was everything we’d hoped it would be and more. If we could change only one part of our planning process, we would have hired him as our full planner from day one. We will recommend him to all friends and loved ones who are planning an event, especially a wedding. For something so important, you need someone who brings their full mind and heart to their job. I wish I could give Shaun and his team more than 5 stars, because 5 little stars does not do his team justice. They went above and beyond to make our wedding day special and I really can't thank them enough. Now they are more then just our wedding planners and I have the pleasure of calling them friends. Having Shaun and Morgan's support throughout this process was everything I needed and more. Trying to plan a wedding during grad school is a nightmare and I could not have done this without them. Shaun Gray Is a Gem! We Hired him for my oldest daughters wedding (Abbie) in 2013 and everything was well taken care of! And kept constant communication on every perfect detail! It was absolutely beautiful! So good that we hired him in 2021 again for my middle daughters wedding (Tate)!!! Just as pleased if not more! Shaun never disappoints! I have three daughters and Shaun is our guy! He’s now my son! We still keep in touch and I love him like a son! Take the stress off yourself moms and dads! He knows everybody!!!
