Food is average- lacks authentic taste !
Fish was overcooked and mushrooms had a raw spiced flavour. The salad is always tired and stale. Presentation could be better.
Naans were great and service is always great. I’ve been few times and it’s the same problem every time with different food items.

We chose Shahi Mahal for our holiday trip based on its many positive reviews and were looking forward to the experience. Unfortunately, our visit was disappointing due to the unprofessional handling of a food quality issue by the owner.

Overall, the food was good. However, when we ordered cheese naan, we noticed it had a strange, sour taste. Even our child pointed it out. On checking, it was clear the cheese was off. We informed the staff politely, but instead of a sincere apology, the response was dismissive. They offered to replace it but cooked it again using the same cheese, which led me to write this review.

Despite us explaining the problem multiple times (including showing the flat, layerless, sour-tasting cheese), they insisted the cheese was fine. The owner even came out to say there was nothing wrong with it, though he did eventually say he wouldn’t charge us for it.

To be clear, they seem to have the skills to make good food, and most of what we ordered was enjoyable. But hospitality isn’t just about good food—it’s about how you handle mistakes. If something goes wrong, you should be willing to admit it and apologise sincerely rather than argue with your customers.

I hope this feedback is taken constructively, as I genuinely think they have the potential to deliver a much better dining experience with improved customer service.

Also, I would like others to share their experience about cheese how it look like when like when comes out of HOT oven

I was so excited to try the food that I missed a photo of the main plate.
I had a Chicken With Mushroom, can’t remember the name but was good.
They use a lot of coriander seed in most of the dishes and I am not too fan so you must love it or will hate it and this is the reason of my 4 stars. But in general it’s good India Restaurant, Indian vibe with music and wall paint and fair price.

Everything was awesome and had the best Dine-in experience at The Entrance! The food and the customer service was amazing. I can say without any doubt that I had the best manchurian in Sydney. The curries and the rotis were top notch both satisfying the level of quality and quantity. The staff and the owner were very humble people who wanted to provide their customers with best food and experience! I will surely comeback again when I am around central coast. Highly recommended!

Warm welcome as soon as we walked in.
Prices on the menu were cheaper than others in the area. Portion sizes were generous and BYO.. Such a great experience. Thanks Goldie we will see you again!

Lovely Indian restaurant. Service was excellent. They contributed to our evening celebrations by serving food with happy birthday written on it in sauce to our daughter. They also have her a candle in the Gulab Jamun. Sweet touches.
