Extremely large rooms for the price. Not fancy but very clean and within walking distance to restaurants and supermarket. Great little stay for visiting Ballarat.

A nice hotel. I feel it needs a good clean inside and out..however it is clean just a few things need a little attention.
A lot of workmen were staying at the time..No need to worry as they were all quiet and polite.
We stayed in a cabin which was warm and comfortable bed. It was a cold afternoon on our arrival and the air conditioner had been switched on prior to our arrival (we had only booked an hour before) The lady at reception had walked out with us to show us our cabin and parking spot. We had a lounge but it was covered with a throw rug which did have stains.
The bed linen was clean.

The reception needs a good clean and tidy up as first impressions count.
The hotel is located centrally..a short walk into the CBD.
Parking available on site.
A local upmarket pub is attached to the premises (happy hour before 6pm for half priced food and discount drinks)
The outside area also need some TLC as these little attention to details would makIe the difference.
I wouldn't dismiss this premise as per my review it just needs a little tweak here and there.

The location here is perfect – a few minutes from the railway station, and only 5-10 minutes walk from the main city centre. There is an excellent pub next door and a very pleasant cafe over the road.||Although I’d booked a “standard room” it felt more like a small apartment – with a sitting and dining area, a good size kitchenette (microwave, huge fridge, gas hob etc … no oven) and a big bathroom. The wifi was good and I found the bed very comfortable.||A few small negatives … My room was next to the pub and the sound-proofing was poor so I could hear music (though not late and not excessive). Also, the room and furnishings were a little shabby in paces and in need of some maintenance. ||So it’s 4 stars instead of 5. But I’ll certainly consider staying there again.

It’s not a very good motel, sadly. The best thing about it is the location. It’s only a short and very pleasant walk into town. It’s also beside a fantastic and really well run pub. That’s where the good things end. The rooms are a bit down at heel. They’ve seen much better days and look like they weren’t that flash when they were last renovated. Most of the finishes are ordinary and the maintenance standards aren’t great either. The place is way overpriced for what’s pretty much a 2.5 star room at best. We love Ballarat but we will stay somewhere else when we visit here next

The room was terrible and needs to be completely refurbished and renovated. It was the absolute low point of some regional travel we made in April 2024.||||1. The place was generally quite dirty and dusty.||2. The shower door did not close properly and was very dirty at the bottom of the door/shower. And it leaked along the back wall. The water disappeared into the floor and there is water damage showing on the roof of the carport below.||3. The spa door was held shut with black tape.||4. Inadequate cutlery is supplied e.g. one teaspoon and the draw was dirty.||5. The blind on the window between the bedroom and the bathroom was broken.||6. Curtin cords were hanging together with a thread.||7. The microwave did not have all its legs and was sitting on a piece of dirty foam.||8. There was a plastic blue cover on the couch and cushion which made the place feel like a crime scene. It was absolutely horrible.||9. The WiFi just did not work.||10. There are no power points near the desk or table.||11. The table had a horrible brown mark on it.||12. The bedside table was all marked making it look dirty and there is only one bedside table.||13. There was a lot of noise from the hotel on Saturday night making it difficult to sleep.||14. And even the Do Not Disturb sign was held together with sticky tape.||||Hotel management did not respond to concerns made directly to them.||Do yourself a favour and stay somewhere else.

Last night, I had the pleasure of staying at a great hotel that was conveniently located close to town. From the moment I walked in, it was clear that cleanliness was a top priority for the staff. The hotel was impeccably clean, which instantly put me at ease.

One of the highlights of my stay was the wonderful spa bath. It was the perfect way to unwind after a long day of exploring the town. The hotel truly went above and beyond to provide a relaxing experience.

The check-in process was quick and efficient, allowing me to settle into my room in no time. I was pleasantly surprised to find a well-stocked mini bar and snacks, which added an extra touch of convenience and comfort to my stay.

Overall, I had a fantastic experience at this hotel, and I can't wait to come back. The friendly staff, cleanliness, and the luxurious spa bath all contributed to a memorable stay. Thank you for providing such a wonderful experience!
