We are travelling down through Victoria and stayed at Seymour last night. We had dinner at Club Seymour and it was really great. The food was excellent and the staff were wonderful I asked a staff member who was walking past our table about the size of the entree risotto vs main. I ordered the entree ( which was terrific). The staff member came and asked me if the entrees was enough. Highly recommended.

Bistro at Seymour Club
Stopped in for Dinner while taking a break in our journey. The food was amazing , the mashed potatoes get a 10 out of 10.

Bistro at Seymour Club
What a clean, lovely place to sit and have a meal while taking a break in our journey. Loved the food, the ladies serving us for courteous and friendly. Will stop by again in future travels

G'day , just left the seymour club, Service great.
Entree Caesar salad with chicken, we have had a few days of hot weather in Seymour, the chicken must have just been plucked, as it was extremely dry.

Main,
chicken meat lovers with Veg only. Came out as ordered but with chips.

Veg & chips left on plate, as they were cold. Well! Not hot enough for a main.
Chicken was also just plucked.

Over all, I understand the seymour club is not rated as a 5 star .

Popped in for lunch and we were made to feel warmly welcomed by the staff. A wide variety of typical bistro fare is on the menu, my companion opted for the roast beef while I elected to have the salt and pepper squid. The squid was prepared well, no rubberiness that can often be found, though I did find myself seasoning it a little more (probably just personal taste). Chips delectably crunchy, as was the salad (the sweet chilli sauce really set it off). Partnered with an ice cold beer from the tap made it quite a pleasant experience.

The venue itself was contemporarily fit out, clean, modern and well looked after. Some clearer signage would probably help but compared to many clubs I've been too it certainly didn't seem stale. Great prices for seniors too.

It was busy but they still found us a table but they should have told us the wait would be over an hour. Three meals were ordered and they all came out 19 to 15 mins apart.

Meal was lovely, staff NEED covid safe training. Hands were placed on my partners plate before asking if she had finished, daughters ice cream placed at the wrong table where it was breathed all over before being moved in front of my daughter. Over friendly staff not maintaining 1.5m when conversing with at risk older patrons.
