A very laid back, and yet incredibly professional operation, this is definitely the quickest and easiest way to get from Sorrento to Queenscliffe, and lets face it, its about a four hour drive if you go around the bay. Ships are easy to board whether on foot or with a car, and there are nice facilities on board as well, with a small cafe that also serves alcohol, so you can enjoy a glass of something whilst you cruise across. Some great views of the properties in Portsea as well.

This boat is a great way to get from one side of the bay to the other, it is gentle ride and great views from the top of the boat. It is easy and simple to get cars on and off the boat. The facilities are clean and the cafe has food options for everyone. This ferry is not a rough ride so don’t be worried. I highly recommend this to anyone who would like to travel across the bay or just for a joy ride!! Also there are sometimes dolphins and about 20 minutes into the ferry look towards the city and you will see over 50 seals on a wooden structure!

Took the ferry to Queenscliff for the afternoon, fabulous weather and some wild dolphins made it most enjoyable. The ferrie employees, both on board and at the terminals were friendly and willing to help. All in all it was a great little day trip.

It s an amazing experience. Can take your vehicle and visit the Mornington Peninsula when you disembark at Sorrento. Staff are friendly. A Cafe onboard . Visit the Searoad Ferries for more information.

This service was incredibly easy and hassle-free. We pre-booked our tickets online, arrived earlier than expected, and were smoothly added to an earlier ferry with no issues at all. Loading the car was quick and straightforward, and we headed up to the passenger deck with ease.

The deck was super comfortable, offering a variety of seating options to suit everyone. The onboard café had a fantastic range of food and drinks, and it was easy to move around and enjoy the ride.

Highly recommend this ferry service—convenient, comfortable, and very well-run!
