Of all the wedding planning decisions we made, hiring Melissa to design and plan our big day was, without a doubt, the best decision we made. From our first phone call, I knew Melissa was perfect for us. Melissa designed the perfect winter wonderland wedding and it was everything we dreamed of.

Melissa made us feel like family with every call, email, and text message. We had the perfect vendors for our big day, thanks to her knowledge and connections in the wedding industry. Melissa is an artist, from designing our invitations, to our centerpieces, to our table settings. On our wedding day, Melissa was the ultimate professional. It felt like she was in a million places at once!

Our wedding day was absolutely incredible thanks to Melissa and her amazing team. If I had to go back and do it all over again, I would hire her even sooner!

We attended a wedding that Melissa and her team created last weekend. Not only was the setting and design impeccable, Melissa, Michael, Kate, and the rest of the team went absolutely above and beyond--including staying up until the wee hours of the morning trying to fish a guest's phone out from under a deck, creating individualized itineraries for each VIP guest, and gracefully accepting our group's quirks. They even included a bunch of exciting surprises for bride+groom and guests alike! It was so clear that this wedding catered specifically to our friends: I had the distinct pleasure of getting to talk to Melissa and she explained that she understood very early on that the couple cared more about experiences than THINGS, and (while the wedding was absolutely gorgeous--covered in flowers and a beautiful color palette) the events and experiences that they curated were really the star of the show. Each themed wedding event was like being transported to a new and unique world curated and created by this team. They were sensitive to dietary needs, LGBT+ needs, and the zaniness of our crew. All of that AND an absolutely gorgeous design. By the end of the weekend, each person on Melissa's team felt like a long-time friend. I could not speak more highly about this group of amazing humans.

Melissa and her team were wonderful! She helped us plan our backyard wedding in Upstate NY. During our very first consultation she made us feel really special. Throughout the planning process she was quick to answer any questions we had. She even managed to get us hotel blocks at multiple hotels after we had been told several times there were none available. She's a rockstar!

We knew we wanted a wedding planner because we wanted to ensure everything would be handled leading up to and on the day of the wedding. But little did we know there would be so many other useful perks to hiring Melissa! Her planning tools were amazing and kept us so organized. Her vision and style are impeccable. Her ability to think of every little detail helped to make sure there were no surprises day-of. And the fact that we could reach her at any time - literally even late at night - was comforting. We can't say enough good things about Melissa and her team!

Wow! What an amazing wedding planner! We knew Melissa was going to be a great fit for us from Day 1. We could feel her passion for wedding planning and making sure we had the perfect wedding day. We ended up getting the partial wedding planning package which was perfect for our needs. Leading up to the wedding, she guided us every step of the way offering great suggestions for vendors, actually listening to our thoughts about day, and making sure we stayed on track with securing everything as the wedding day approached. She was always available to answer questions day and night. She kept in constant communication making sure things went smoothly leading up to the day. Admittedly, we were a little slow with some decisions, but she was super patient with us and made sure nothing was missed!

The wedding day itself turned out perfect. We can't say enough about how attentive Melissa and her team were to every single detail. She managed all of the vendors and guests to the point where we didn't need to worry about anything. The whole day went perfectly according to the plan she had helped us put together. We were also really impressed with how personal she made the whole experience (Where are the Minions!? lol). Overall we had a wonderful experience with her and can't recommend her enought to any couple looking to get married that needs an outstanding wedding planner! Thanks Melissa!

If you are getting married, you absolutely must consider using SBM. The entire team at SBM made our wedding in July of 2023 so incredibly magical. We worked closely with Melissa for months planning our dream wedding. Through the course of planning, Melissa and the rest of the SBM team became dear friends. She knew us so well that she was able to suggest things that we absolutely loved, but never would have thought of ourselves. We had wedding events over the course of five days and Melissa and the rest of the SBM team was there the whole time making sure that every moment was like a dream. We were just able to relax and enjoy the celebration because we knew that everything was in good hands. I can’t overemphasize how absolutely incredible the SBM team is. After our initial meeting, my mom's first words were, "We have to work with her!" That excitement we felt after our first meeting grew and grew as Melissa helped my husband and I to envision our wedding day.

We were so appreciative of Melissa's creative ability and flexibility, helping us to navigate the combining of different cultures and traditions for our big day.

Our wedding day, and all the details surrounding it, was such a beautiful occasion thanks to Melissa. From the invitation design to event space, not one detail was missed. We received so many compliments on our wedding design all thanks to Melissa. Additionally, Melissa helped us to find a way to personally touch each of our 250 guests, no small feat! They all knew we truly appreciated their presence and we are so thankful to Melissa for helping us communicate that message.

In the months since the wedding we've thought about and have been asked, what would we do differently looking back. We honestly wouldn't change a single thing. Melissa helped us to maximize our budget where it mattered most and helped us to make our wedding truly memorable.
