Fantastic time sandboarding with this company. From boarding the bus and heading over the dunes, the instructor Charlie was amazing. He was really helpful and ensured we had great fun, there are lots of options if you are a novice or more adventurous on the large dunes. Highly recommend ?

Nice workers and easy to get there. Small hill, medium hill, and large hill. Perfect for beginners and pros. An area to store your bags and a little undercover area to take a break from the sand.

Nice experience, easy ride to the sand dunes. Kids friendly. Typically 60-90 mins as you have to climb back up on sand to slide or sand board your way down, which is tiring.

This so much fun!!! It good be good to go on the cool day and not too much wind.

Climbing on the top need so much effort and seating on the sand broad you need to have a good balancing should be fine and try to find where the sand as smooth as the best sliding down.

An absolutely awesome way to spend the afternoon in Port Stephens! A must try if you're visiting the area. Sand Dune Safaris were very understanding when we were running a bit late, and they always have a shuttle going out to the dunes every 15 minutes. The best part is, you can stay out boarding on the dunes for as long as you like! My wife and I stayed out there for over 2 hours!
If you're thinking of doing sand boarding in Port Stephens, you have to go with Sand Dunes Safaris!

What a wonderful experience!!! ?
We went sandboarding yesterday and we highly recommend this company.
The whole team is very friendly!
Perfect for families, couples and small groups. We were there for about 2 hous and had a blast. Can’t wait to go back. ?‍♀️

Amazing. All went great and the boards were so easy to use. My first time doing sand boarding and was able to stand. It is 20$ for students and you can spend as long as you want to. All equipment provided + free bottle of water. Friendly staff, never waited more than 5 mins to be picked up to go on the spot or back home (they go with the car always when someone wants to go). Can only recommend, it is fun 🙂

We had 5 kids do the sand boarding and they really enjoyed it. On the way to and from the bowl the driver answered some of my question about the area which was great, but he could point out a couple of interesting points each trip. Would also be good if the guides at the bowl gave a demo of actual boarding and what is possible, as we were too buggered to keep going once we figured it out.

Overall it’s worth giving a go, but go early if it’s forecast to be a hot day.
